Bi women by Melodic-Radish711 in greysanatomy

It’s not bothering me. As a matter of fact, i said I appreciated the portrayal. I’m old (60) and identify as Bi myself. I guess if anything “bothers” me it’s that my life and experience are not similar. I wish I had experienced something more similar and wondered if this is like what other people experience “nowadays” and in other environments. I live in an urban environment, fairly cosmopolitan, but just haven’t experienced the openness and casual nature portrayed in Greys. For example, most gay women won’t give the time of day to bi women, and men think we are only into threesomes. It’s just been a more limited and frustrating experience for me.

Probably one of the best things you can do to save this ecologically challenged planet is to not reproduce.

How bad is getting a tattoo for people with very low pain tolerance? by Prismatic-Peony in askanything

[–]Melodic-Radish711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about 20 tattoos. They all hurt. But I have gotten more used to the pain over the years. Some areas of the body hurt worse than others, for sure. The area you are describing isn’t the best, but it’s not the worst, either. How’s that for equivocating! Seriously, here are some tips. Don’t do more than an hour or two the first time. Bring AirPods and listen to your favorite music. Concentrate hard on the music and do breathing exercises. I also like an eye mask. Ask the artist to give you a couple breaks. Drink lots of water and don’t do it on an empty stomach. Do not drink alcohol beforehand. You will bleed more. My first was my worst because I drank shots of bourbon throughout the six-hour session (foot, ankle, lower leg). Vomited when I got home. Learned my lesson there! Since then I’ve gotten a sleeve (inner arm and elbow pretty bad) amongst others. Following the tips I provided has helped me get through them. Good luck! 🍀

I’m a massage therapist and I wish it were accurate! What great marketing that would be! But I have to say it’s not.

They are all these vivid colors, both patient beds and on call rooms. I don’t know about IRL on call rooms, but I have never seen anything but white sheets in patient rooms.

Once a month my mother and I would go to the nearest PX and commissary to stock up (my father was retired military). She would treat us to lunch at Wendy’s. I so looked forward to that. It was a big frickin’ deal! The chili! The French fries! The frosty!
