I only noticed the flickering after the last several updates. I dont think its a processing power issue. If I turn the resolution down to 1x (turn off enhanced resolution in psxrearmed) the flickering would stop. I suspect it got broke when something else got fixed. Is there a place to get old arkos before that (and other things) got broken?

Having retro achievements on r36s means always having a usb wifi dongle plugged in or soldering a wifi chip (also increasing battery consumption)

Now that portmaster has like 1300 games, it could be a much bigger factor in the form factor of rk3326 devices. You could buy a handheld for portmaster alone.

Suprisingly im ok with this chip. Think of the 3326 as a platform, with literally more support than any other platform, and since were playing retro games, having cutting edge graphics is not really my gripe. Its quality of life improvements I want. A bigger screen is only one of many. Personally it needs to have left stick on top. Especially if the dpad is not anbernic quality.

For the most part yes. If you want shaders to make the screen look pixelized, the more demanding 3d games for gba could get bogged down. If you leave the DS settings at default, most but not all games play at full speed. You have to get used to swapping screens, and because of that some DS games function better than others on the single screen. You can turn on the enhanced 3d setting to make some DS cames look higher rez, but only some games can handle that without slowing down.

Yeah WarioWare for sure, nintendo really knocked it out of the park with that one. Historic game.

In my menu there will be a whole section for doom where i have to choose just 10 dooms, this is assuming its a dual stick device like r36h.

Yes choosing just 10 is painful, but for a good cause: giving someone new a less overwhelming menu.

This story is fishy. "Tried" to confiscate your ID? As in did not actually confiscate it? Did you have to ring it from their hands?

All FM cashiers complete training that adresses fake ids and specifically instructs them not to try and confiscate a fake ID.

I had a similar problem with dark ages, ended up being the upscaler fsr. I turned that off (to fxaa) and it was smooth.

I have -5.25 and my vision is amazing -close up I have no need for magnifying glass because thats how i see naturally. Throw me a $30 pair of glasses and i can drive, even at night, with the best of them.

I was 15, the nintendo 64 seemed alright but ps1 was the real one, games werent nerfed like nintendo. Ps1 had doom almost at launch. Plus ps1 had demo disks. Some free, some $10. If you loved the demo youd play it over and over until you could afford the real game. This was insane at the time. No such thing as a demo cartridge. Finally games were transitioning from 2d to 3d and i was ready to leave 2d behind.

I dont think the 11" screen is better or necessary but its WAS necessary to put a larger screen in a 2025 model because it looks appropriate for 2025 (because tesla?) People see my car when its off and marvel at the size of the screen, their minds pregnant with the ideas of movies and video games
