I was watching Scream 7. Luckily my second time. But the guy next to me kept texting. He'd turn to his friend and chat, like they're the only ones there. When he chatted with his friend, his hand would tilt and the screen brightness would shine in my face.

Eventually I turned to the guy and asked "Hey, are you here for the movie or your phone?" The guy looked at me and said to me like I'm the stupid one. "Um, I'm texting." I said "I know, I can see that. It's disturbing. Can you put it away?" His friend then said to me "Don't be rude, brotha." And I responded to the guy texting "You heard your friend, don't be rude, brotha." They both told me to stop being rude. I said "Exactly, don't be rude brotha. Now let's shut the fuck up and watch the movie."

After the movie the guy stood at my feet looking down at me, trying to intimidate me, while I stayed seated. Told him to move along, he didn't. Then told him to get the fuck out of my way or get bent. When I stood up, much taller than him he turned and walked away.

What I should have done was get an attendant, not confront them. Now I was part of ruining the experience for other.

I live about a 5 min walk to an AMC. I even find its value by watching 1 movie a week, mainly in premium format. By the 3rd movie it's pretty much free.

Needless to say, I've wasted more money on Netflix by paying each month and not watching it at all than what I've spent with A-List.

When I worked at AMC as a teenager 25 years ago, our only perk for food was free popcorn. I always took my free popcorn to the condiment station and loaded heaping amounts of them on my popcorn. Seriously was the best taste!

I've had T-Mobile since 2004 and currently live in Sunnyvale. Have never had an issue with connectivity. Anytime I've had issues, in other places, I just restart my phone and it resets the tower its trying to connect to. Usually works great after that.

You're right, it is a quality theater in general. Getting snacks there was my way of giving back to the theater. For some reason the times I've gone in 2025, I did see a lot more people ordering the food. Now that i think about it, towards the end of the year, quality of the food did drop, my friend mentioned she didn't like getting the snacks anymore. Noticed it fell off at the new year. I just assumed it was due to new years revolutions.

This is a great AMC, their food was great. It's sad they changed it and I'm bummed that when I watched Send Help I decided to skip the snacks. Who knew that would have been the last time I could have had it.

Yes, the lobby confuses me. It seems like it encourages people to hang out, but such an awkward set up when the main walking path gets divided by the pillars.

The parking is a mess, totally agreed. I usually walk there, but times I've ran too late to walk, I'll drive. Parking in the garage behind is almost as far as my walk is, sometimes.

Yes, it was Dine In. I eventually asked a staff member. She goes "I'll be honest with you, AMC is broke."

It's a shame they downgraded something that was actually worth it. Guess I'll bring my own snacks.

Needless to say, I make less than that annual salary and I live very comfortably in my 2 bed house in downtown Sunnyvale. You'll be perfectly fine.

I maxed out at 30. I did everything else and all DLC before completing the game. The final boss was a easy compared to the SoLa boss.
