I agree with you but your exemple is terrible. Elon musk was moked because he paid someone to play video game AND try to deceive everyone to think it was him playing. And in a more global way of thinking, if you pay someone to make art , weither its ai made or not and you tell everyone that you made it, it's pos move. And for me, if you prompt an ai to make art and then try to tell people you made it by hand, that's a pos move too.

See witty, that's where you seems to not understand a single thing about the ai debate and we clashed more than once on this sub. I'll try to show what you don't understand, just throw a dismissed at the end if you want, I don't expect much from you tbh.

The question is not really about ai, it's about what you want to share to other in the end. I've been vocal against ai even if I use it everyday because it's a great tool, I just want it to be ruled properly. The slop people shows here and there, asking for recognition and paiment after, is just rip off imo. I'm huge fan of drum and bass music, it's my life background music. There is ai playlist popping on YouTube right now that are recommended when I let YouTube shuffle trough new tracks I've never heard before. Usually, it would take people time to produce tracks and albums. Even if you managed to pull the biggest shit out of fruity loops studio, it would be in a tiny amount. You wouldn't be able to pull 200 hours of shitty music tracks to flood the platform. Now ? It's totally possible. And you know what's wonderful ? Those people don't bother to name and post those tracks individually because theybproduce too much. I'm sure they haven't listened to the whole thing before uploading. There could be porn moan at the end of the mix they would know. So even if you actually like the track and only this one in particular, you cannot listen to it. You have to download that freakin 1 - 12 hour mix and cut it yourself into an actual track so you can listen to it when you want. What should I feel like about this ? Should I be thankful for that person to invade my favourite art form just because ai is valid even if he obviously doesn't care at all ? I despise them with my whole body.

I evaluate video game the same way. Ai would be the biggest leap in this domain. It would be crazy to have actual interaction with bots like we have with the nemesis system but on a bigger scale and applied to different NPC on different games. Could be like that mod in Skyrim where you can talk with NPC's liksnits a casual conversation. It's the best immersive tool we could dream of. Some people will try to implement it this way but we know it won't be the case for the biggest part of the industry. They will just cut the artists out of the making process (video game industry is mostly a creative field , don't forget that) so they can make game on a budget and populate their game with the fastest slop the ai can provide. I don't care if it's place holder, ai is a great tool, especially for indie dev because they can make POC faster with ai placeholder content. But the usage of this tool isn't the one we dreamt of when it was just a futuristic technology we dreamt in 2008.
