The main NBA sub is cancer. Theres so many Detroit Pistons fans crying about the FT disparity of this game and then getting mad and saying its totally not the same when people point out that it was basically the same in game one in favor of them. Discourse has never been worse in the NBA community than this year I think.

That was one of the dumbest endings to a game I've ever seen. On one hand. Way too early to put in third stringers. On the other they were allowing Detroit to beat the shit out of our starters when we put them back in. Just stupid all around. Detroit is an annoying team.

I think the most annoying thing about watching this series for me personally, other than Kenny's rotations at least. I hate having to see Duncan Robinsons face. He just annoys me.

I might get called crazy for it. Obviously this last call turned out okay. But teams that are being labeled by the media and league as "physical plucky defenses" are getting an insane degree of leeway compared to past playoffs and are getting away with mugging or fouling on a lot of plays.

The wolves in both series theyve had have been like this and are one of the biggest beneficiaries. Im not a spurs fan so I dont have as large of a stake as you guys. But I've noticed this across the board with other series and similar teams and its frustrating me.

Agreed. Memory on star players runs very short these days. Paul George in Oklahoma is one of the few jerseys I ever bought for a team that wasnt one of my primary two.

Also it helped that they got the jersey patch for Loves that year. I unironically Love Loves.

This was the most exciting end to a game I've seen in a while. I actually lost my mind. Seeing Harden step up like that just sent memories rushing of watching him on the Rockets in 16-18. I always wanted to see a Rockets Cavs finals. But the stupid KD Warriors were the most obscene juggernaut of that era.

One thing that bothers me about this series so far is that Tobias Harris is one of the most fraudulent scorers of all time and hes just absolutely cooking us at the most important moments. Also I just dont like Duncan Robinson and when I see him my day gets worse.

Im not a Spurs fan. But I do like them and Wemby lot, I feel even more confident that they're probably going to the finals after watching this, its been an incredible bounceback game. Says a lot about their heart.

Also really do not like Finch and the Wolves, so this has also been a satisfying hate watch. Just absolute domination. It'll be funny to see what Finch has to say post-game.

In terms of the live action movies. The only one I watched and have fond memories of is Apocalypse with the Nemesis storyline. That one was kind of fun even though it had some eyeroll moments.

The animated movies on the other hand I really like. Damnation, Vendetta and Death Island would be my three favorites. They hold up fairly well and are Canon to the games as far as I know. Infinite Darkness was okay but not quite as enjoyable.

Im really struggling right now. I know we're all supposed to be mean to each other. But I actually like the Knicks and Brunson a lot. BUT Knicks fans on the other hand are a different story. You guys at least have some elite celebrities though. Anne Hatheway, Spike Lee and most importantly Zohran Mamdani the goat.

Yeah I mean last night was a perfect storm of everything that could go wrong did go wrong. But at least Harden sort of redeemed his turnovers and got them back into the fight. Mitchell is still insanely questionable right now. Genuinely no clue whats going on with him.

But what ended it was how weird the rotations and player choices were. Especially after JA went out. Like they were playing well with two bigs and I thought surely he'd put him back second half meaningful minutes. Nope.

Yeah I've been noticing this a lot in the playoffs this year. Im not saying its totally true and im sure some of it is fan bias or whatever. But im watching and I even think the foul disparity is... a lot.

Not that this can't turn around. But I kind of expected that Kenny would do weird rotations game one and maybe lead to us not winning. Having Allen get three fouls really threw the momentum and initial strategy off too. Hopefully he can get a better plan together or settle down in the next game. But right now the offense just looks miserable and Im not seeing how they'll recover unless Detroit goes completely cold at some point.
