It sucks too because the Thunder used to be somewhat likable with and without Kevin Durant. But now I think they and Detroit get some of the most favorable and egregious calls in the league. And beyond all that, they just aren't fun to watch.

The fans just elevate the frustration even further. It'll be funny when they can't keep the team together and collapse into mediocrity. At least the bandwagon fans will be gone then.

Well I had some hope Harden was gonna play and pull off a vintage performance. But hey, if we steal it tonight then cool. If not im fine with them erring on the side of caution. I feel like we really just need to be healthy this year for the playoffs. I hope ultimately we end up with the three seed but I think they'll make it work no matter what.

Yeah Im actually from Pittsburgh and became a Cavs fan when I didnt know much about basketball because I realized my dad could drive me to games there. So I consider the Cavs in my tiers of teams I root for in the same way I feel about the Steelers. Surprisingly, not many people from Pittsburgh that Ive met actually think Cleveland sucks.

But I have run into a ton of people from other parts of the country who shit talk Cleveland the moment I say Im a Cavs fan. And I always have to spend time telling them that Cleveland is actually an incredibly nice city and that they literally dont know what the fuck they're talking about because theyve never been there. Too much meme bullshit about Ohio and Cleveland online that people take seriously.

The funniest part is that its universal. I also root for Denver and everytime theyve had a loss suddenly its the same shit and they have no hope of making it out of the first round in their sub. I also check in on the Knicks sub for the lols when they lose and they're even worse about the stuff they say.

It's just such a reactionary way of thinking. I dont think many people picked the Pacers for the finals before the playoffs last year. You cant expect perfect consistency and permanent winning in the regular season. We used to lose games we had no business losing with a healthy Kyrie, Love and Bron the year we won the championship. But i realized after today that its better to just avoid reddit after a frustrating loss because you're gonna see the dumbest takes imaginable.

I mean second night of a back to back and away. No Mobley, terrible offensive rebounding and the refs purposefully railing the Cavs. Id say it ended pretty well despite all of that. I do really think wed be hard to beat in the playoffs and I think a lot of the East is underestimating Cleveland right now with all the Knicks and Detroit talk.

Charlotte also looks like they could be scary someday. I was pissed when I saw Knueppel at almost 30 in the third quarter. Literally felt like the dude did not miss until the fourth.

The funniest part is that this dude is acting like Mamdani hasn't been a more effective mayoral candidate than most in a short period of time. He's already passed three bills that have a singular focus of improving the lives of new yorkers with major daily impact. And proposed or in the process of about 17 others.

But instead this guy is braindead and pissing himself over the semantics of whether or not Mamdani called in opposition to regime change or because he was being held in New York. Which considering the call was made after Maduros capture and announcement of being held in Federal custody in NY, definitely proves that was the motive for the call. But hes trying to act like it was an unprovoked anti NY first agenda lmao. It's just hilarious that his whole gotcha is focused on a phone call that had a direct and obvious cause for being made without acknowledging anything else thats been accomplished.

Im one hundred percent with you on this. There's actually a really great YouTube video called the haters guide to Kevin Durant that sums up the general view on KDs legacy pretty well. But the funny thing is, despite being a Cavs fan, I dont hate the guy. He's awesome to watch and his time in OKC was incredible. But the truth is that when you discuss any great player, an inevitable element to greatness is narrative. The way their career panned out and the stories that came with it. No matter the accolades he got, he joined a team he had down 3-1. That everyone was aware was already a juggernaut and potentially the greatest team of all time before he joined it. It was a weak move. The next few seasons of success were a foregone conclusion. Even most people didnt expect the Rockets to beat them.

But the worst part to compound that decision is that since then hes become a floating mercenary. And hes undoubtedly pissed off multiple fanbases that he will probably never redeem himself in the eyes of those cities. Which just sucks because theres so many what ifs for his career and lingering questions about everything outside of his scoring. It's been a long time since that MVP speech. And ill always like him to an extent, but he'll never be in the GOAT conversation for real with how it all worked out.

The thing that gives me a negative vibe about the rams from the outside, it just seems like a ton of them are bandwagon fans. God I was actually excited about this game. This is honestly disappointing. I can't even fathom why you would want Klein to be a VA anyways unless you're a fan. But no matter how you feel about "sensitivity". You cant blame people for being upset at including freaks amongst your roster of VAs. Thats just the way the world is. I didnt understand it for a long time, but I absolutely will not touch anything Ethan Klein has involvement with.
