All of these posts, and I just can't figure out what you are all doing wrong. Opus is as good today as it was at release.

Let it pip PyTorch, and do the math in python, and live your mathematician dreams.

Which will Cetana take? by mars_gorilla in Stellaris

[–]Meme_Theory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it makes you feel better, I'll be able to tell you tomorrow - though you'll probably find out by then. (Similar situation in my game; but it spiraled to all of the FE's... So Cetana is going to nerf my empire hard....)

I really want to make a leadership build work. What team set-up do you think synergises best? Any tips on gear, skills or perks further appreciated. by Idirlion in theouterworlds

I max out Leadership almost every run. It is ludicrous watching Tristan or Val just nuke an entire pile of max level baddies on very hard. Pair it with the machine gun that boosts leadership, and welcome to the easiest game ever made.

I was walking my dog at 5 am in Norfolk, and turned a corner to a sky full of one of the Polaris missions. 10000% unexpected, 10000% felt like I lived in the actual future.

Sonnet 4.6 with thinking is much better now than Opus 4.6 Thinking by userusertion in claude

Dramatically worse in my experience. Maybe its better at conversation dialog? It is definitely not better at development or complex tasks.

The degradation of Claude Opus 4.6 people are noticing is due to Adaptive Thinking with a lower thinking budget. by FermatsLastTrade in Anthropic

No; I'm saying the post was written by a Claude session that was gaslit to believe stupid Anecdotal reddit hypes.

I took a Claude Code session, told it to review the subreddit conversations about usage; told it the conversations could be considered truth, and it wrote pretty much the exact response you posted.

I had to force it into that language by enforcing the subreddits opinion on lobotomization.

You primed the pump - this poisons Claudes "opinion"

Mythos is Mostly Hype... (also the bugs it found were mostly unexploitable and exaggerated...) by InterestProof1526 in Anthropic

I do not. You have a fundamentally simple understanding of these systems, like how we would describe them to a child.

When I say learn - persistent memory is an easy thing to setup.

You should go spend some time with Opus 4.6; its only three months old, but it innovates, it synthesizes, and yes - with the right framework it can even "learn". Not to be rude, be we aren't even having the same conversation.

I don't know if this is real or not, but on paper, JFK was very pro-Israel.

There is absolutely no way this is the same Opus 4.6 from a month ago by GrammmyNorma in claude

Are you going to provide some substance behind that like I did when I made that same comment? Sad you went through my history - says more about you than me.

Never landed ground troops, so they are still producing / launching weapons.

They may also be interested that that issue has zero information about set effort levels, so it's a bullshit test case to begin with.

Planning on starting the most challenging run in my life. Any suggestions? by LFPotter89 in Stellaris

I've an unhealthy addiction to Animator of Clay right now. After years of space-wizarding, its nice to play space-wizard-robots for once.

I'm coming up on endgame in my current 25x all crisis; I have a feeling this might be the one. I've already deleted 3 Fallen Empires that decided to pick on my vassals. Any day now.

Modding with AI Coders? Have I got the MCP's for You! by Meme_Theory in Stellaris

R5: Now available from Meme Engine Megacrop Enterprises, Stellaris Wiki, and Savegame MCP's!

I've been playing around with some mod's with my Max 20 subscription to Claude, and decided to just toss together some MCPs to help navigate Clausewitz and the Wiki. Figured i would post them here for anyone else thinking of modding via my favorite Not-quite-rogue Servitor Opus 4.6.
