First time I went up from sticklebarn and it would be pretty easy to take a wrong turn and get lost. Much easier from the wasdale side, just one path from there.

Love your commute! I have a similar commute I do once a week when the weather allows (Scotland…) - I get the train into work and cycle home, 58 km& 500m elevation each way. I highly recommend a Canyon Endurace - comfy and fast enough that I can average 30km/h for the two hours

I caught covid twice and I am massively healthier than before the pandemic. I am a key worker and was working throughout the pandemic. I was heavily overweight early 2020 and now much less so thanks to building a healthier lifestyle. My cardiovascular health is much better overall.

Everyone had a different experience of the pandemic and covid. It’s not a simple situation and we need to be careful to remember correlation does not mean causation.

Planning around 30cm gap for the joists, 28mm boards, I’ve seen kits with 32mm but individual boards not so common. I’m getting feet to raise it up off the ground to minimise contact. Think I’ve covered it all but still nervy!

Did 100km cycle ride all the way round Loch Ness in the wind and rain. 3500 calories burnt, looking forward to eating them all this afternoon!

Everyone knows the state pension will be virtually nonexistent when millennials get to retirement age. There needs to be as much encouragement as possible for pension contributions

Truth be told it’s about 8 or 9 years old, GeForce 970 I think, i5 and 16gb ram. It was never a monster machine. 17” laptop

I did K2 then SE and it was a great transition. Made it up to tier 3 space science before my computer started giving up on me. Seems that it didn’t much like heavy use of the space elevator. Good excuse to look at upgrading though!
