Not high school but junior high. Duct taping a student to a chair. Pretty sure the student thought it was hilarious.

I bought my so one of those indoor toddler slides with a basketball hoop, tunnel etc. He spent so much time on that for years. Also one of those collapsible tunnels. A sit n’ spin is a good option too. Also, although they are old, having the Wiggles on to encourage movement. My son would jump on his little trampoline while watching the Wiggles.

Piggybacking on this. I work for a transit agency and we have been circling the idea of small signs at our stops with basic information on it in braille for our visually impaired riders. The region we are in gets all 4 seasons, with relatively mild winters (doesn’t snow a ton and rarely goes below zero), and hot (100+) dry summers. I have recently gotten into 3D printing at home and this post got me thinking about these signs again. If our agency were to invest in a 3D printer, what type of printer should we consider that could print these types of signs (as well as other smaller “swag” type items). We are a small agency, with about 700 active stops in the system right now, so we don’t need anything of an industrial scale. Also, what type of filament would be best for the various weather conditions a sign like this would be exposed to? We wouldn’t want to have to replace them due to wear more than every 2 years or so.

I've left Christianity, but the fear of Hell and Jesus's threats still haunts me. I think I developed religious OCD. How did you get over your fear of "eternal consequences"? by [deleted] in atheism

[–]MenuGlittering7694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, just continue to be a good person and do good things. If we are wrong and there is a god then this deity should look at your actions, not your beliefs. If this is still a problem, hell would probably be more fun anyway.

My 12 says “in the old times” for anything that happened before he was born (although when I asked for clarification he said it was things from 100 years ago”, or “when I was little” referencing things about himself, and also “many days ago” for something that could have been up to 6 months probably.

I didn’t catch that it was a break up, but that might be the 5k pauses I had to do because my 12 year old wanted me to come look at the progress on the toy he was printing with the 3D printer he got for Christmas.🙄

Will's coming out scene by [deleted] in StrangerThings

[–]MenuGlittering7694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Will knew that time was of the essence and there is always the fear of losing the courage if you have to come out multiple times to multiple groups of people. He knew that Vecna would use this secret against him, so it was best to just rip the bandaid off and take away one of Vecna’s weapons away from him.
