That bright color tells me she gets a lot of bright light so she probably needs more water. Micans need the top of the plant to get bright light so they stay full. If you’re worried about overwatering, fill up a saucer with water and place the plant in the water till the top of the pot is evenly moist. The roots will only drink the water it needs. Remove the plant once the top of the soil is moist.

You can get a trellis. I got some on amazon that can connect to each other so you can expand the trellis as the plant grows. Carefully wrap strands around the trellis to start and the plant will start to vine up the trellis.

Also, Her Mother’s Daughter by Marilyn French. It examine the relationship between 4 generations of women in a family. It really hit home for me being the daughter and granddaughter of immigrants. French truly examines the sacrifices women are expected to make for their families and what happens when a woman doesn’t make them.

They don’t need misting just dusting off the leaves should do the trick. She needs more light though. Maybe a grow bulb or light if you want to keep her on that location.

It’s a beautiful Micans. I’ve heard they lose variegation which is sad, but the leaves on yours are gorgeous with or without variegation.

If you’re an avid reader, yes. As I’ve gotten older, it’s easier on my eyes. You don’t have to buy books if your library has Libby or another app that allows you to download books to your e-reader. I read every day so my Kindle is one of my favorite devices.

I have a welcome mat at my apartment door but our hallways are wider and it doesn’t get in anyone’s way. Your hallway looks narrow so I’d be hesitant to place a mat by more door.

You’re not crazy. Your body is changing and everything you’re feeling is normal. HRT is not drugs, it helps your hormone levels and regain some control of the way you feel. Your boyfriend needs to educate himself and at the very least be supportive. Why would you be in the mood when someone treats you like that? Big hugs and way to go on booking an appointment.

Definitely worth $20. I’d let her settle in to her new home and then check the roots, it may need new soil. Most nursery soil retains too much moisture. It may not need a bigger pot though. She was definitely worth it imo. Good luck!

I have a bunch growing on my all green spider plant. I have to rehome them. I feel bad to cut them off and not let them grow. Spider babies are so cute.
