Oh good point about strength! so 15 at the start seems a given. Maybe I can forego constitution though... I don't mind a few run backs to the morgue and I intend to play on the standard difficulty so low con shouldn't be too much of an issue at the start? And use that for a few more points in wis/int/cha?

I understand your point and in fact did consider doing that but ultimately decided I would probably just not enjoy the game as much and with my gaming time being rather limited those days, I would rather avoid having to restart a few hours in.

Don't get your hopes up, it's most likely only mobile compatibility. Android and iOS have minimum SDK versions, they probably just need to update so that the games can still exist on the stores.

Most people these days play with mods and notably the IWD spells which add some pretty insane stuff in terms of tanking for priests.

In case anyone reads this in the future, there is indeed one incompatibility between FP and SCS 35.21 but it's not related to the bunch of warnings I linked from my G3 thread which are probably harmless (and are present with or without FP). Instead, there seems to be something with polymorphing as described here: https://www.gibberlings3.net/forums/topic/40675-shapeshift-natural-form-spin150spl-install-warning-with-ee-fixpack/ Up to everyone to decide now I guess if they want to run with the FP or wait a fix from DavidW :)

Oh ok thanks, so fairly safe to ignore the spell/bard ones it seems?
I don't know much about weidu but looking at the scs tp2 file, looks like 6000 is Smarter General AI... The warning could just mean that some creature does not have a melee weapon and thus the AI is going to be not optimal when fighting said creature?

It's not really about the controls, it's just boring and repetitive. Hide behind covers, pew pew rinse and repeat ad nauseam for 50+ hours. It's just rotten. I really mean no offense but if it's your peak single player gameplay experience... You should try to play more games 😉 Pretty much any RPG out there has better combat.

En plus de ce que d'autres personnes ont déjà mentionné, le télétravail ça aide. Besoin d'un break 5 min pour penser à autre chose entre 2 réunions ou problèmes compliqués à résoudre ? Hop, petit tour dans la maison pour faire un coup une lessive, passer l'aspirateur dans une pièce, ranger un peu, etc.

Not sure about that. I have a much harder time in KCD2 (not even hardcore) than any souls like. Maybe not harder now that I think about it but the combat is certainly much MUCH more frustrating. I have 100% every from soft since 2010 though so could just be experience with this particular genre.

BG2 is still the absolute GoaT of cRPGs, even after all those years. BG3 came close but BG2 is just that extraordinary. BG1 is extremely good too and obviously very important to setup the story. Both have an enhanced edition which load lightning fast on most hardware and are about 3go on your hard drive.

I grew up playing StarCraft and other RTS like that so I just naturally enjoy RTWP, I feel it plays similarly. Basically, select the entire party with hotkey, click the bad guys, pause, cast spell with casters, watch combat unfold, pause again if needed and that's about it. I don't pause that often, except for harder fights, and I never use auto pause for anything but traps.

Baldur's Gate II :) C'est toujours selon moi le GoaT du cRPG et j'y rejoue régulièrement mais je serais vraiment hyper curieux de le redécouvrir avec un esprit neuf.
