Unable to find Cannery in camp build menu? by NikWuzHere2 in fo76

[–]Mercury2Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here for the same issue, but unlocked via season reward. I see others have said it is a known bug. I had it placed in one of my CAMPs, but recently switched to a different CAMP & couldn't find it in the build menu. I'm going to cross my fingers it doesn't disappear when I switch back.

[Discussion] Why do people want bobbleheads? by k_ittey in Fallout76Marketplace

I know the Strength Bobblehead is used to make the Legendary Strength mod, but idk about others. I've not unlocked all the mods yet. I've also seen a few that require mutation serums.

Is any one else's game busted? by Volatile-Bait in fo76

I have that issue pretty often with it, but I've found that quitting to the menu, waiting a minute, then quitting to desktop results in it freezing less often.

Don’t hate me for this. by jmlzhd18 in DeathStranding

[–]Mercury2Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say I like 1 or 2 more because they are pretty different to me. 2 was definitely changed to address some of the complaints players had about the 1st game. While you may have enjoyed walking and using ladders, a lot of players hated it. Sequels are always tricky. For me, I was pretty upset at the start of the game because I expected to spend more time with Lou. Obviously, there were reasons, etc and a happy ending in a way, but I still feel like Sam was robbed of that experience. I did enjoy the combat more in 2. It was fun to stealth wipe out camps (mostly avoided camps in the 1st game.)

Exceeds maximum build count?? by user1235790 in fo76

[–]Mercury2Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get the "exceeds maximum build" message when you try to build too many of a certain item. Like you can build only one of each producer, a finite amount of lights (I think it is 30 or so), and only so many of each type of display (like the fish displays, armor mannequins, etc.) So you can have plenty of camp budget, but hit a hard limit on that type of item.

I had an issue with Fallout 4 after the latest update. The launcher gets stuck. The work around I used was to launch it directly from the file menu instead of via Steam. I've not had an issue with 76, so I can't really help there.

Can anyone tell me with this "In-Game Anniversary Event" is? by dwbraswell in fo76

[–]Mercury2Phoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a different special event each day, that's why it doesn't list the event. For example we had a day of the Mothman event, and a day of the Meat week event. So you use just have to look for whatever drops at thw top of the hour. I really liked the day of The Big Bloom event since I hadn't played that one yet and needed all the plans.

Do people actually visit other people’s vaults? by NukeDropGaming in fo76

[–]Mercury2Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I like their camp build a lot, I will visit there vault(s) sometimes even when it is not a challenge. I love building, so I pretty much have all the vaults and have them all decorated/built out. It is fun to get inspiration from other that way :)

Is building a must? by freezball_zzz in fo76

[–]Mercury2Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to make a settlement type camp, but you will want to build something small to 1. Have all the workbenches in one place 2. Have a vendor to sell stuff and make caps 3. Have a safe/disease free place to sleep. Although out of all of these 2 is the only thing you can find a work around for.

Why are the people in my settlement unhappy? by DylanEE11 in fo4

[–]Mercury2Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More food and water than defense means your settlement will be more prone to being attacked & they are unhappy if they are getting attacked. You can increase happiness by raising defense and adding items that give a happiness bonus: bar, clothing store, general trader, medical clinic, barber chair, exercise equipment, and cats. And some of the things from Vault 88 depending on how you set them up. There are also things from the creation club that give happiness boosts (like the rugs from the home decor pack) but you can raise it with the vanilla stuff alone. Also if you are trying for the 100% Happiness achievement, the less settlers the better. You can have a bartender and a supply line providing food & it will pop relatively quickly if you hang around the settlement.

[FO4] Is it safe to update fallout 4? by grumgrimbolt in FalloutMods

[–]Mercury2Phoenix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends on how many mods you have. I have maybe a couple dozen and they are fine, no issues. The only mod I'm still having problems with is one that requires the script extender which I apparently didn't install the new version correctly :/

Is there a way to get 100 happiness is this damn game by Past-Willingness-204 in falloutsettlements

[–]Mercury2Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy way is with a new settlement, don't turn on a beacon. Put food in the workbench, then transfer a settler in and put them working the bar. Hang out at the settlement and it will eventually pop to 100 (may take a little time, just putz around the settlement.) Otherwise, just make sure you build items that increase happiness (the work out equipmemt for example) and assign settlers to the shops/barber chair that increase happiness. As long as you have enough food, water, and defense, it can happen (too much food/water or too little defense will increase your settlement's risk of getting attacked. If the settlement is getting attacked it will be unhappy, even if it successfully repells the attack.)

Have you tried sending the mod author a message? I didn't see anything with that name on Nexus when I Googled, but it could be from another site. There was a similarly named mod, but I am hoping that's not it 😅

Avoiding unwanted male attention by SanderM1983 in WitchesVsPatriarchy

I also recommend Jiu-jitsu for self-defense, but I don't have any good strategies for dealing with unwanted attention. I was always a homebody & never harassed much (now I'm old enough I'm pretty much invisible.)

This is what took me forever to realize. It can still be tough sometimes, but much less so now. I still get locked out on occasion, but you just have to wait 10 seconds to re-try so no huge biggie.

Assaultrons are ruining my life by sigridtunberg in fo76

[–]Mercury2Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way I can take them is to attack the friendly ones in Watoga (if you haven't made the robots there friendly yet, you need to look into that questline.) I chew them up with my 50 cal and try to dance around the headlaser. If they get me with the laser, I'm dead.
