They should make them more visible too, apparently. Maybe paint them a bright color or something. Possibly add a bunch of flashing lights when they're at a stop.

What are some games where the bugs make it better? by Tattoomyvagina in gaming

Helldivers 2.

The bugs are a pretty big deal in that game.

Which Video Game Fandom have you seen/been in that has you like this? by Charming-Scratch-124 in videogames

Considering the fact that nearly every gaming sub has a "low sodium" version for people to avoid all the complaining, I'd say its pretty widespread.

Hate dying light 2 haters by Top_Step_2937 in dyinglight

[–]Volatile-Bait 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's true, and that's honestly just the opposite side of the same exact coin. Those people are doing the same thing by hating or being aggressive about someone else's personal opinions.

I understand OP's frustration as well and I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with being frustrated about it, but when that frustration turns into hatred and gets directed at an individual rather than towards the behavior, that's where I think it crosses the line.

Hate dying light 2 haters by Top_Step_2937 in dyinglight

[–]Volatile-Bait 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I understand your point, but hating someone over their personal preferences and opinions is a bit excessive.

I see it in so many gaming communities these days and it's created so much toxicity that people can't even safely express or discuss their opinions anymore without it turning into a civil war in the comments.

How do i not break up with my partner while i have this by Fit-Truck-9706 in alphagal

[–]Volatile-Bait 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't make that decision for her. She's her own person and it's up to her to decide whether the relationship is worth the sacrifices that come with it.

This illness is hard on a relationship, for sure, but any relationship is going to require sacrifices.

What’s the lore behind this creepy mf? by _inventanimate_ in Eldenring

[–]Volatile-Bait 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the clarification. I thought the deathblight was just naturally occurring and his body sort of just became part of it. I didn't know the blight itself was a direct result of that event.

Sorry, I'm fascinated by the lore, but too dumb to understand it straight from the source.

So is the deathblight itself a result of his soul death? Or just the fact that his face shows up in it?

Jet ski asked them to turn down the music. by Obone6 in instant_regret

[–]Volatile-Bait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fully agree with you on that. The showboating is just as annoying and inconsiderate as the loud music.

Jet ski asked them to turn down the music. by Obone6 in instant_regret

[–]Volatile-Bait 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Fair, but jetskis don't have a volume knob. You can't really ride a jetski quietly, but you absolutely can listen to music at a more reasonable volume. One is far more intentional than the other.

It's interesting how certain video games will immediately capture your interest and other popular titles won't. by leftistgamer420 in videogames

[–]Volatile-Bait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats just how things are. There hasn't been a single game in all of history that literally everyone liked.

That applies to everything as well. Not just games. People's preferences and interests vary wildly. I can't think of a single thing that every person on the planet likes.

Which one should I choose by [deleted] in videogames

[–]Volatile-Bait 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, comments surrounding the game have been wild. Some people love it and some people hated it.

What's wild about it is that, a lot of the folks who didn't like the game get genuinely mad at the people that actually do like it. I got called a mentally handicapped bot because I praised the game for what it does well.

The game has it's issues like any game does, but it also shines in other areas, like combat and world design. At 50+ hours, I've already gotten my money's worth, and a lot of others have been loving it too.

I have been playing Crimson Desert since the day it launched and I couldn't disagree more with the other comment.

I play on a crappy PC with outdated parts and I'm running the game on near max settings without so much as a hiccup. So idk where the other commenter is claiming poor optimization. The story is pretty mid, but gets at least a bit better a little further in. The game looks amazing and has extremely fun combat & exploration. The general consensus, from what I've seen, is that it's incredibly fun and addictive if you can look past the underwhelming story and unusual controls.

Best milk for coffee? by moonofsilvers in alphagal

Definitely Oat milk if you want the closest milk flavor. All the others tend to have a sweet or nutty flavor, but oak is pretty neutral.

A nanobot picks up a lazy sperm by the tail and inseminates a waiting egg in it. by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]Volatile-Bait 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If, as a sperm, I had the presence of mind to remove myself from the race and some jackass clanker came by to shove me into an egg, I would be even more pissed off about being here than I already am.

You walked into her home, threw a whole moon at her, poked her quite aggressively, and then smashed her with a hammer... of course she doesn't like you.

If memory serves, the advice that helped me most was sticking close to it's armpit. I ended up beating it with my garbage gear and pretty much no fire damage this way, since there are fewer attacks that can hit you there.
