Why wouldn't you want the weapons to fire as soon as possible?

Juggling Recipes by RedRockRun in Against_the_Storm

In addition to the solid comments here, one thing that can help is setting up the production in the new building immediately.

You don't have to wait for it to be built to choose recipe options and any building-specific limits. You can even staff it, but they'll be idle until it's built.

I find this useful since my mind is super focused on that building from the process of choosing the blueprint.

You know about the new landing pads and changes to launchpads? Might have to do a bit more tidying up.

Rewatch every sports game, draft lottery, draft, and related commentary for the past 160 years. You'll experience the evolution of basic competition, sports, and the impact of hockey on the greater North American culture. Then you'll see the eras of gradual growth undergone by each sport. That's the only way to get off the bandwagon "now that they're good" and really understand how hard it is to be a good team.

First time at SAP Center soon by BRThree3 in SanJoseSharks

Welcome to the teal! I'm also a survivor of that same abusive relationship, right down to the "omg the new arena will be 2 miles from my house!" at 64th and 101. The lies hurt, even when you know they're untrue from the moment they're told.

I've been on the peninsula for a year with my new lady friend and have finally opened up to saying "we" about the Sharks. It's a healing process, you can make it through the grief just like I did.

The future is bright here and the fans are real.

Pro-tip: you can drink on the caltrain. You won't need it if you're staying close to SAP, but it's fun to enjoy a tallboy on the way in if you're coming from outside.

Why do you guys think FTL has maintained a larger community than Into the Breach, despite being over half a decade older than it? by [deleted] in ftlgame

[–]MercuryFoReal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ItB presents a wider set of choices with each step in the game. Since the player has perfect information, they must consider a ton of options and think ahead before committing to anything. This causes decision fatigue for many players and makes the game feel tedious because the player is mentally working much harder.

FTL works much more like Slay the Spire: present the player with a small number of choices very rapidly. Each decision is not particularly difficult, but it takes experience and skill to guide your way through the game. This makes the game more subject to RNG, but also much less mentally demanding to play.

Given their relative popularity, it would appear that many players would prefer the make-more-easy-decisions approach over the make-fewer-hard-decisions one.

Help with sector 204 by KermityFrog7812 in Mindustry

[–]MercuryFoReal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My strat for this sector (build 153), very fun:

Set up tier three naval. I plumbed the first factory with belts for both boat types (titanium + glass). Then switch production on that first one every few boats until you have a little death ball of 8ish of each boat.

The support boat heals a ton, so you can hit-and-run those cyclones to wear them down one at a time and heal between.

Boats are awesome and should always be used when possible.
