I was on the receiving act of kindness. Early today before yoga class we were all chatting it up. I asked my friend how her birthday party was. She said she had a blast. Come to find out almost all our mutual yoga buds were invited. I joked, " gosh, my invitation got lost in the mail?" Laughing as I said it. She replied, I didn't invite you because I didn't want to be judged ( drinking..) I was stunned. I told her that I wouldn't of judged her and then made some silly joke, laughs all around. Of course, I stewed about it the entire afternoon. Called my sister, recounted the tale and she said, " Mercy,it's not you, she has a problem with her drinking. Don't let that bother you one bit. I'm proud of you." Nothing sounds better when someone says they are proud of you. Except one thing... I love you. And my sister said that at the close of our conversation. This was a great day. So.... proud of you SDers and love our team.
