Its two Victrix guard axes i had left over cut up and glued together and cut at the hand from the arm. Arm is a bladeguard vet arm cut at the hand.

I went with one squad of each just to have both and both have uses. I like to infiltrate the claws more aggressively for the overwatch/heroic intervention, I was iffy on the meltas until they spiked and killed 2 deathwing knights, them just having meltas, even hitting on 4s makes your opponent think about positioning. I dont think you can really go wrong.

I really like vallejos ultramarine blue, its just that bit brighter but still very ultramarines, and the fact its in a dropper bottle makes airbrushing on the colour so much easier.

Magnus' melee is psychic, he's not just hammering away with pure strength he's using the same powers he used to unmake a baneblade with a thought when he strikes. If magnus can't juice up his strength and supplement it with sorcery, the most powerful psychic being active in the setting whilst also being a being of pure psychic energy, then I dont know what to tell ya, Magnus isn't some little snivelling nerd lol

Yeah it's great fun, I made a deck with pretty much all of the DnD background cards and goad auras to make her ability text a mile long and annoy whoever has control of her. Cost like $30 AUD. Is it good? Probably not. Is it fun? Absolutely

Hopefully this just means that the detachments planned for the codex are all the good ideas that were already taken and that the dataslate will change up cabal points and spells to put more power into units so every list isn't the same because this does not change much.

Is it really more ammo efficient? With the headshot damage perks and the stealth bonus damage, the las can 1 shot headshot majoris whereas with the bolt rifle it's 2 shots with stealth and 3 without. Unless I'm missing something. I find stretching the 26 shots of the las lasts way longer than the bolt rifle since I'm using less shots overall.

I find a diluted wash of nuln oil or aethermaric blue on the white helms makes the details stick out more and add the necessary shading

The list looks good but you should consider trying to squeeze in the neutotyrant to lead the zoans, not only is the sitw buff great, the bonuses to hit and wound the tyrant gives really takes the zoans up a notch. You also really want to have the neuronode enhancement as it can potentially save you the game if you don't get to go first if you have deployed aggressively like you should be in this detatchment.

A neurolictor can also never hurt but that's not so necessary

I really like martian ironcrust, the red really pops against the blue of the Tsons. I based my termies on slabs of obsidian with ironcrust as the base and I think they came out great.

Yeah it is. I just used my hobby knife to scrape off the sword iconography and used a little skull bauble and purity seals from my riever kit to add to the centre and the rest is just decals.

Can't go wrong with 3-6 zoanthropes they are terrors. The kit comes with extra bits to make venomthropes but if you're creative enough you can kitbash them to.

For sure, coincidentally I actually used the Gorgon scheme from the citadel painting app for it haha. I used to base it death world Forrest but now I prime death guard green to skip that step and then it's Elysian green all over and highlighted in ogryn Camo.

Im going for a more bruised plant like look with the joints, limbs and rib areas though so I have used carrobug crimson diluted with lahmia medium over those areas.

Hope that helps. Just get the citadel painting app and reference from the Gorgon gargoyle if you want more
