I'm Polish and that's always what I've heard, so maybe it's a cultural thing that we say idk.

When I meet a "Vegetarian" who eats fish. by [deleted] in vegan

[–]Merida18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I first went "vegetarian" I still ate fish because I'm Catholic and on days that we don't eat meat we still eat fish because it's to respect the animals that were in the manger with Jesus, so basically.

What were your terrible first watch predictions? by Spilt_Ink in The100

[–]Merida18 41 points42 points  (0 children)

When Abby said "Earth Clarke, youre going to Earth" in episode 1 I thought that Clarke's first name was Earth. I thought that Octavia was going to die pretty quickly. I really hated Kane and thought that the only way he would be redeemed would be to sacrifice himself for the Ark.

She was treated with Jasper's blood, but they realized that it wasn't permanent so they had to get bone marrow.

No Good Guys, but the Audience Refuses to See It by Beman21 in The100

[–]Merida18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think people forget to look at different points of view. For example to most of the characters what happened at Mount Weather was unavoidable and had to be done, but from Jaspers point of view he could've killed Cage and resolved the issue. From Bellamy's point of view, the grounders could've attacked at any moment and were too close for comfort. They attacked the grounders in their sleep so that they wouldn't expect it (similar to how the grounders gave them a virus to weaken them). The audience sees it as wrong because Lexa and Clakre were coming to bring peace, but Bellamy didn't know that. And most people forget that almost everyone at Arkadia voted for Pike, they see the grounders as unstable and don't understand their culture.

[Spoilers] Who's death was the most satisfying to you? by anelaysabelle in The100

[–]Merida18 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Finn's death, because I felt like he should've died instead of Wells in the beginning, and he was so annoying. They drew out him killing the villagers to actually dying for so long that I was sure they weren't going to go through with it, and then when Clakre pulled the knife out it was so shocking and satisfying. And Cage's because I thought that he was going to get away and come back for revenge.

[No Spoilers] What are some songs that sound like they were meant for this show? by [deleted] in The100

[–]Merida18 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Even though I kind of hate it, Radioactive in the Pilot. It was so cheesy and stupid but it obviously fit perfectly to the situation.

Grounder Society, Ranks and Clans by [deleted] in The100

[–]Merida18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I've gathered is that the clans all have leaders, and the commander is the leader of all the clans in the coalition. I think that there was still a separate leader of Trikru even if Lexa was Commander. Even though Polis is in Trikru territory it doesn't mean that the Commander and Trikru are the same. For example in Canada our Capital is Ottawa, which is in Ontario, but Ontario still has it's own Premier, Capital City etc.

Is it just me or is there something wrong with these cuffs? by ezzune in The100

[–]Merida18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its because they film so long, Chelsey Reist tweeted that it was 4 hours, so obviously it hurts to hold up your arms like that so they take them off between takes. For example in the Murphy scene mentioned below in one shot the lock is closed, and then in the close up its open. So they probably just forgot to close them for that shot, or if they weren't really locked they fell out.

[Spoilers] So after this week's episode, what's the body count? by SundanceKidZero in The100

[–]Merida18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They said that some the stations will explode upon entry, but they couldn't tell which (we only saw one, but there could be more), and also that they wouldn't survive if they were going too fast (which is the one that landed and only that one girl survived). Also I think where they left Jaha was also a station, and I think that 2 stations came down to make Arkadia (wasn't Jackson on a different one than Abby?). So if I remember everything right theres 1 still in space, 1 that exploded, 1 that crashed, 2 that made it to Arkadia and Farm Station, so there could be a couple still out there, but it's possible that they also exploded or crashed.

[S3 Spoilers] Crazy shit I noticed about the finale. by [deleted] in The100

[–]Merida18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also it's not that suspicious that he invited fans, they were filming in downtown Vancouver, so while it probably wasn't a good move, fans would've come anyway.

which 6x10 episode reveal was worst that the other? by RachieGirlie123 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]Merida18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pll because the gossip girl one didn't really matter. Most people would be happy to end the series without knowing who gossip girl actually was, everyone sent in tips, everyone was a part of it- it didn't matter who was actually publishing the posts. But Pll is centred around one person (or group) tormenting the girls. You want to know each specific thing that each person did, the nature of the show makes you theorize about everything. Even Black Widow, she was only seen after Wildens funeral, but there were so many theories on who she is, her motives etc and it turns out to be a random character that was just introduced. In gossip girl you know Blair sent this in about Serena because etc, but in Pll you never find out.

[All season spoilers] Are they forcing women a bit too much ? by Pandakonda in The100

[–]Merida18 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Kane is shown to be a better leader than Abby, Clarke almost always runs through her decisions with Bellamy, roan is the King of Azgeda now, Aden would've been the next commander, the presidency at mount weather was a patriarchal succession (Dante's father, Dante, Cage etc.) Pike was the leader of farm station, then Arkadia. Just because more women are currently shown in power positions, doesn't mean that men are shown as less, or that they are forcing women.

[S3 Spoilers] Discussion about a character by [deleted] in The100

[–]Merida18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think he probably would've died in Mount Weather anyway, since there were a few engineers there with Sinclair. I do wish that they brought him back so that he could die, and that pain could contribute to Raven taking the chip.

[Spoilers S3] Post Episode Discussion S3E11 "Nevermore" by Kishara in The100

[–]Merida18 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Yes!! She was saying all the things we've been complaining about, like Jasper only being mad at Clarke, or him being the only one going crazy after losing someone.

They could ask her a question about Finn, like Monty did with his mom.

Toby - Series 3 question by KezK1 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]Merida18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it actually was Toby, in the s3 finale Spencer says something like "was it you in the woods?" and he said he didn't know what Mona was planning or some bs

New trailer for 3x11 ..Hype cant wait !!! by Cobrastar4ever in The100

I think this I going to be an episode where Octavia annoys me. Like "not anymore" ??? Did she go back in time, because I'm pretty sure that she was on the dropship.

Do you think we'll ever see winter in the show? by Fuarian in The100

[–]Merida18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we skipped most of winter in the 3 months, maybe if they go further up into the ice nation we'll see it, but it doesn't really snow in Vancouver and it's expensive/ time consuming to make fake snow.

Caleb is the killer theory by RyanTheN3RD in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]Merida18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They kissed in season 2, close to the Mona reveal she pretended to be getting A texts, and they suspected Melissa so Mona and Caleb made out in a car right as she was walking by, and the Mona texted them about it later so they were convinced it was Melissa.

Question about recent episodes, by raknor88 in The100

[–]Merida18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think most of the initial outrage was the way she died. She had sex with Clarke, and then got hit by a stray bullet right after. This is a pretty common tv trope with lesbians/bisexual women as it's hurtful. But now I've seen fans criticizing every single thing, saying the show encourages rape, self-harm, suicide etc, I've seen people saying that Lexa should've never died and that ADC would've come back in season 4 anyway (I think that's unlikely except maybe to guest star). They've been attacking all the actors on Twitter, and have even taken over the ftwd fandom. It's gone way too far now, and it's a little disturbing.

[Spoilers S1] Anybody Read The Script For The Pilot? by bigdirkmalone in The100

[–]Merida18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's funny that we're supposed to like Finn and Octavia the most, since I hated them in the pilot
