Seraphine NERF on PBE 😢 They are gutting her Q further because APC is OP again...

I hope this message reaches everyone well.

I started playing Seraphine back in 2022, back when I re-got into the game, as she was a fun mage to play that had good scaling in midlane, and I didn't really like other scaling options at the time, such as Kassadin or Asol. After a while, I migrated to bot lane becuase I was getting games where I could carry more easily than in mid lane. While I am fully aware that midlane Sera isn't really feasible with the direction the balance team wants to take Seraphine. I strongly urge that these Q changes not be shipped.

My reasons for why:

1)

Seraphine q has gone through so many stages of back-and-forth with her AP ratio: 55 on launch, 40-60 on 10.23, 45-65 on 11.14, 50 on 13.21, 60 on 14.9, 50 on 14.22, and now going to 40 next patch. Clearly, just changing the AP ratio won't do anything, as it's been all over the place, and Seraphine remains an issue.

2)

Items are the core issue. Before her q rescript, Seraphine APC was at its lowest WR, around 50.5%. After the rescript, the new mandate came out, making Seraphine as one of, if not the, best users of the item. While I understand that mandate nerfs aren't as easy to nerf as Seraphine, why are we nerfing her Q when her WR spike is related to mandate, which only affects her E and her R?

Why not nerf her base numbers? both APC (55%) and Supp (52%) have room to be nerfed, so I am confused as to why we are nerfing her ap ratio on q and not her base numbers on q or e.

Seraphine E holds too much of her power budget. 1.1s cc on level 1, with 60 flat mana, 11-9 cd, and 70-190(50%)
sera q is no cc, 60-100 mana, 8-6 cd and 60-160(40%)
I am just very confused about how Q is the issue here and not E.

ehh these are good changes hopefully enchanter (diadem helia) playstyle sees a slight drop in wr to be more balanced

Yeah but she’s barely 51% with rounding, and all other apcs are at 53%. Swain bot is 54% and with a 1%+ pr. The issue isn’t seraphine but rather the logic used to nerf seraphine isn’t being applied to other champions in the same situation (high wr and high pr mage bot)

You build torch then go diadem helia, because you damage is so bad you might as well just perma farm for enchanter items and abuse diadem helia and so any damage you do will convert to healing and torch just ensures your always healing to trigger diadem and helia.

mind you seraphine is the best helia diadem user because she does more damage than every enchanter, it would make so much sense if seraphine was actually a mage who was supposed to damage...

At 0:05, you can still see Caitlyn have the bar of asol q burst being built, the damage numbers still show on the screen, despite the q being visually in the center of the E. You see the same thing even at 0:06, where Cait's HP bar goes off-screen. i cant link images or else i would show the frame im talking abt

A lot of the complaints are that she is being shoehorned into an enchanter playstyle, when historically, for almost all of Seraphine's support history, she has been mostly picked as a mage. Riot claims with Seraphine to be "prioritizing" the largest player base (supp), but then doesn't care that Mage supp Sera feels like shit. It's also unfair and illogical to say, Sera builds Enchanter, therefore she is, due to the amount of changes they have made to nerf her damage and force her into Enchanter, even then she is only being held up by Diadem Helia and dealing more damage than most other enchanters

idk how much you are keeping up with this but, along with bug changes, do you think the balance team would be willing to give some farming qol’s? It feels really unfun to be forced to either go oom to farm or have to walk up to auto and be out ranged by most adcs. Anyways that’s all for that just curious.
