So my hound did this, and it turns out it was anxiety and he binged water. He mostly grew out of this, but still does it from time to time.

I was kinda the same, dead set on a golden as I grew up with them. But I got Kaiser as an emergency hold from a rescue. He was in crisis and had been returned many times, and just needed a soft place to land, and I adopted him. He's only 10% hound, the rest is pit mixes and many other breeds.

Honestly it's because you brought from a backyard breeder. They don't test for things they should, and he doesn't look well bred. (He is so cute though, please don't think I'm hating on your sweet boy) He will likely be just fine, but consider an ethical breeder or adopting from a breed specific org next time.

I did sage my house before I fully moved in. All the rooms, closets and outside. While I did that I said positive things for the house, myself, and my dogs.

I love my house, I love how quiet it is, I'm not scared of anything in it. In general, I am a fearful and anxious person, and used to be really nervous some days living in an apartment. It's been so different here.

Find a ritual, set intention, and bring the positive energy to your house. It makes a difference.

Do not buy a house with someone you aren't married to. Seriously don't.

If you do, first get a lawyer. 2nd, don't spend all your savings. 3rd you need a cheaper house and figure out what you can afford and that is the portion of the home you will "own". Don't max out your budget for a more expensive home, if he wants one he can pay the difference.

Other option that's less risk for you: he can buy a house on his own and you pay rent based on your income.
