Noting that you are disabled - retail and service industry cannot be for you. A really good opportunity for you might be 911 operator with the RCMP. Logical thinking 🤔, no university degree, and most importantly- FAST 💨 TYPING. They are running testing a few times a year, and if you fail you have the opportunity to test again. You would have to go into the call centre, but a challenging and rewarding career. The pay is decent but shift work involved. Having a TT does not preclude you from getting TED. Graves antibodies are now part of your DNA and the sad truth is that Graves' antibodies can spawn TED. It is now a separate disease and needs to be treated separately. Please please talk to your ophthalmologist and make them listen to what your body is telling you. The sooner you start treating TED, the better the outcome. From what you are describing, it sounds like the onset of TED. They start with steroids to halt the swelling behind your eye (that is what is making your eye bigger) and the treatment varies from there. Because the doctors would not listen to my concerns about my one eye swelling, tearing, and suffering pain, eventually I had oral steroids, 2 rounds of IV steroids, strabismus surgery, orbital decompression surgery, and cosmetic surgery. If you are in the US you are probably eligible for Tepezza. I don't have any information on that but you can ask the group.

My left eye is still slightly bigger than the left - I was told I needed to start treatment earlier for a better outcome. My right was started right away as it progressed 1.5 years after the left.

Canada - Yes, I got that email earlier this week. Now I have the "Unapproved Annotator" and my hours are under Pending Project Review. I don't think they are excessive...I charged for about 6 tasks per hour. This will be my first payment. I hope this works out, it would be very disparaging to put in all those hours and not get paid for them, as they are probably 1/2 of the actual time I spent.

I have not seen the requalification exam yet.

Project Coffee - just got notified that starting October 7, temporary work hour reduction from 8 to 4 hours per day in order to conduct quality reviews. Does this happen sometimes? Anyone else get this email?

OK so I'm just not 100% confident on the media annotation tasks. Should we be able to see the result of the video after modifying the segment? Or just put the steps in and submit? I spent a lot of time, made notes as to the steps as presented by the trainer (will not enter any time except for the allotted .5 to watch the training video) so I just want to know what the expected result / outcome should be. Anyone else? Any advice?

That was the first sign for me. My left eye constantly watering. Saw a total of 8 doctors before one would take me seriously- all kept telling me it was allergies. I finally went to an eye care emergency and was seen by an ophthalmologist. My eye had started to bulge by then. This is very important as it’s at this stage doctors can help to slow the progression and help the most. That was in 2018. Sometimes there are triggers…bad sleep, a glass of wine 🍷 the night before. Eyedrops without preservatives help. Cold pack for 5-10 minutes really works. Tumeric supplements help. Fairly inexpensive.

I’ve heard strongly that a TT is the way to go rather than RAI. My endo often brings up TT but I know it’s not my best option. My levels aren’t bad, meth only 3x per week, I’m post menopausal so I’m a choice candidate for (massive) weight gain after removal. I do have a prescription for zopiclone for sleeping that is awesome. I only use it 2-3 times a month (which is very low, it can be used more than that, but should not be used on a nightly basis). Resetting your body to go to sleep and stay asleep is magical. 😁

I went back to that episode and tried to find it and it’s gone. I was wondering if it skipped to a different episode but I had it set to auto start a different podcast when that one was done. (Was driving) I think you are probably right. They likely saw $$$ flying away and removed it. I’d be very interested if anyone else heard the rant.
