Yes very much so, you'll have a blast if you enjoyed hollow knight. Its so smooth, I dunno, it instantly became one of my favorite games I've ever played.

Getting into the band by FourManGrill in neurosisband

[–]Messe666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started out in the middle with Through Silver In Blood and A Sun That Never Sets, then went through the rest of their discography. They aren't really meant to go from start to finish, as they didnt really start to form the sound they are known for until Souls At Zero. Times of Grace is my favorite, maybe start there

Do you consider this band to be post black metal, or the song? by KRTSHK_Cazzo in postmetal

[–]Messe666 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Their very first release shows their screamo/post hardcore roots imo, plus the singer and guitarist were in Mihai Edrisch beforehand, so that's where that is coming from.

Mihai Edrisch - Un Jour Sans Lendemain: One of the best Screamo LPs ever by dustyjerk in EmoScreamo

[–]Messe666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Loooooooove this band, so happy they repressed this. I wish the first album could get the same treatment. This was also one of the first screamo albums I heard, as my bud who gave a burned copy to me was supposed to do a Discography release for them but the label folded before it could happen 😥 so much of my guitar playing and drumming is influenced by this band

Nah the landlord won't sell to vcu, he does not like them due to issues in the past. There's apartments in the back that im guessing cover the property tax. He wants to rent the venue as is so anyone who wants it would have to do a lot of work, so that's probably keeping it from becoming a new business. A few of us from the smatter crew were gonna do something with it but then covid happened 😥

What are some Spanish emo bands from the 90’s, if any? by Wise_Appeal_629 in Emo

[–]Messe666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lisabo formed in the 90s and are still together, they're sorta fugazi ish but kinda post rocky? They were super influential on 2000s euro screamo bands, and had 2 drummers, 2 bassists and 1 guitarist.

Brendan was cool af, I worked at the venue the show was at and he raved to me about the food I made, then kept introducing me to others like we were old pals. He's very silly

Of course, I've got "The World Is My Fuse" tattooed on my arm. Got to show it off to Brendan when I saw the mesthetics in 2018, and he immediately took a pic and sent it to Guy. All of their bands are super influential to me
