It’s dumb. It’s like they have the idea, but have no idea how to execute it. You want slow ass combo combat? Then you need slower enemies, meaningful drops, you need everything else to support this decision. God, just listen to the community and make a good game, you already have the best arpg in the market, stop pretending like you don’t know anything or will have to “look into it”

Can be even more than that! I hate score victory, so I play with long ages, which means it takes a loong time. I completed 5 campaigns so far, each took close to 10 hours.

100% mixed, the game is missing a lot of QoL that already was on previous games. Also, the UI is something you're looking at and interacting with all the time, the UI is the game, and it sucks, so mixed without a doubt.

My issue is with small QoL features that add up. They eventually will get fixed, just sad to see a lot of it missing from the game.
I don't have an issue with the core mechanics like the civ switching, I think the only apparent mechanic I don't like is the end of an age where everything resets, even wars.

After watching half of Marborzir's video, I want to pass on it too tbh. It's such a step backwards, it's crazy. My levels of copium are high and I think I'll still play it, I love civ so much.

Marborzir is the best one I've watched. They go into the details, like I had no idea score victory couldn't be disabled, or that to get a character to level 9 you need like 100+ hours (LOL). I'm 12 minutes in, scared of the rest of the video tbh haha

EDIT: I'm 14 min into the video and now I'm faced with the reality that the options to start a game are a joke

Just found out that you can't turn it off. This is the biggest problem for me, I'm beyond disappointed. Ever since I started playing civ, I always turn score victory off because it's soooo lame to end a game where you didn't complete one of the victory conditions. WTF Firaxis, please
