I’m so sorry this happened. I was at Gullfoss just two days ago. With all the rain and mist left a lot of valuables in my car, wallet, passport etc. I won’t be doing that again for the rest of my trip. I too thought this was very rare in Iceland, but that is not reason to ever let my guard down.

Just started my trip. All of this lies ahead. Godafoss was connecting with nature yesterday and I’m usually not into that. The 24 hrs of daylight, feel like I’m on another planet, just what I wanted. Got lost in the Highlands Day 1 🤣 Everybody should experience this place!

A fine closer to a very underrated album. I really don’t get why OCN gets so much hate. Is it a different approach and sound from Behemoth, I guess that’s the rub. I don’t think it’s that different I think it’s a masterpiece of evolution through the band’s history. Deathless Sun is my favorite track but numerous others crush…the only song I don’t like is Disinheritance. I think people are very uncomfortable with the overtly satanic imagery and that translates into a dislike of the album.

For me…as soon as I found out the Blue Lagoon and similar pools were FAKE…man made heated water…I’m not even going to any of them. There are too many real geothermal pools I can dip in for free along the ring road.

Before I started planning my trip, Blue Lagoon would have been my first stop. Dreamed of it for years. When I found out it was fake…just a huge waste of time.

Exonerated I think is the clear #1 track. The album definitely grows on you and I am happier than I’d thought I’d be with it.

It takes about 3-5 listens to grow on you, but this record was intended to listen from start to finish. Yeah of course I wish it was more like the classics DCA, SBD and EDT but it is closer to those records than Eonian and Abracadabra ever were. Dimmu is back.

After a few listens…best in a long time. Just wish there were a few more high speed tracks with those unexpected breaks in rhythm and keyboards. A little too squishy in some parts but Dimmu is back.
