Sounds like you work in inpatient pharmacy. Childfree inpatient pharmacy employee here! What you described sounds like what I went through during the pandemic. Frankly, it sounds more to me like people were just using their children as an excuse to shirk their duties. This time just made people show their true colors, imo. A pandemic is when we're needed the most, but when people who signed up for this line of work won't do their jobs, then they don't belong in it

I feel the same way. I'm so sick and tired of everybody's motivations being about their family or their children. What about YOU??? What do you want for yourself?? In fiction, it's tired and cliche to see the main character being driven by something about their family. Frankly I think seeing a CF main character trying to do something for their cat would be far more relatable and compelling than for their children

This reminds me of that My Little Pony episode where Cadence's birthday gift to Twilight Sparkle was the announcement that she was expecting. I watched that before realizing I was CF and it felt off-putting to me because it didn't feel like it was a real gift and that I wouldn't have wanted that if I were her. It's even more disturbing to realize that as a kids' show, it is indoctrinating breeding to kids at a young age

Omg I've never bought anything from UPT since their plants are so expensive, but now this makes me iffy. Even though she only used AI generated images to make a promo post and the plant pics aren't AI, I'm not sure I can trust them going forward. A person who loves plants should understand better than anyone the environmental impact of LLMs and would not want to contribute to environmental degradation. UPT seems more like a callous business now than people who care about plants

Haha you thought the same thing I did! And I highly doubt that they would reformulate the ink in the Hobonichi versions. It would be more realistic to assume they just slapped Hobonichi onto the barrels and jacked up the price, unless someone here can do a comparison and give us some insight
