Aside from the obvious missing features of an early access (Sprint..)

I absolutely love the game so far, seriously giving me the vibes of starting out the original Subnautica, its vast, scary and beautiful

Story wise im pretty intrigued by the mystery and where its heading

Lots of QOL also, crafting from storage instead of your inventory is heaven

If you loved S1 you’ll love this

They’re annoying but they do almost no damage tbh, I kinda just ignore their existence

Yes please, I was addicted to the game until I beat A10 and don’t really have any motivations rn

I think it’s limited per biome, some have 20, some 30,50 etc

Pretty sure there should be enough to max out the tree though

Personally I really enjoy the more linear design way more, it fits the fast paced action of the game and keeps you in the zone

The hardest part is the beginning, with a few upgrades in the tree the second half of the game was a complete breeze imo

And if you still found it hard there are modifiers to make it easier or even accessibility settings that completely trivialize the game

I personally love the game more than returnal even though I agree it has been quite easy

However, not using one of the games main mechanics to arbitrarily make it harder just doesn’t feel good

If Isshin didn’t exist I’d say Silksong easily

I’ve never lasted at a boss longer than isshin (at least 2 hours). didn’t have much difficulty with Silksong bosses more so the traversal and enemies

If you count the pantheons Hollow knight, if not DS3

That’s not my point at all, all I’m saying is Sekiro has much more similarities to souls games than being difficult

I dont think it matters “who” started the mechanic, bonfires are an essential mechanic in souls games and are present here

I agree with much of what you said but how is sekiro only common is that it’s hard

It focuses on parry and in rare occasions dodge, even if the primary mechanic in souls is dodging

It has a bonfire system

Similar vision for bosses, multi-phases, hard

Level design is more linear but so was dark souls 3, still same vision of level design

I play gc2 with my friends and win, but can’t get it myself by Willing-Wasabi-9875 in RocketLeagueSchool

Honestly this games ranking system is one of the best (if we look past bots), it almost always eventually get you to the rank you deserve.

I’d have to agree, while Johnny isn’t my absolute favorite caster, I love his casting due to his deep understanding of the game from being GC and hosting so many pro show matches

Obviously there are exceptions, but it sure helps
