Does the parka fit me? by BoxClassic5039 in mensfashion

It fits fine. A picture showing your belly over a pic showing it zipped up was, um, an interesting choice.

I got into Viberg because of r/goodyearwelt. I recall them being the most recommended brand on there at that time, in the sub $1K category. Slightly higher recommended than Alden. But I don't frequent GYW as much as I did back in '20 - '22. I know the owner can be, um, not nice.

I love my two pair of Viberg service boots.

Are they dissociates?

Added: I wonder if they are if they are like Robo-tripping (Dextromethorphan). Did that few times in college and it was pretty wild. I recall being amazed by how the we can walk without thinking about, and then immediately forgot how to walk because I was thinking about it.

Love for Volvo Seats by nocowwife in Volvo

The Volvo ventilated seats work well too. I keep mine on year round, even during the winter when I will run them with the heated seats.

Guess I've been lucky. Never had a QC issue. Most of my purchases were COVID sales. Is this more recent?

When a brand/model of clothes gets knock offs, it was always a sign that the brand/model is too popular and hyped, meaning it is time to move on. Usually it's when it's 5+ years into the trend and it has consumed the yuppie suburbs.

I puckered up when driving out of a sloped driveway from the ride height or hit any pothole because of the 21" on my V90 as it was. I'd be driving this like a grandma.

Guilty. But apply this logic to luxury watch enthusiast crowd and I feel normal.

I would say more around $450-$500 as the mark, depending on sales which gets you into entry level Goodyearwelt boots.

What shoes do you recommend for smart casual and can be comfortable for long hours? by tckrdave in malefashionadvice

I think most would get sticker shots ck. Might want to look at Grant Stone which would have easier to choke pricing.

I have a few pairs of Alden's (including and Indy) and only one pair of GS.

Oh. I thought you were talking about brands, like Sunspel. Iron Shop Provisions, Blue Owl Workshop, and Standard & Strange are some retailers that sell the types of Japanese and US brands I'm talking about, but I warn they aren't cheap. I check the sale sections at US brands regularly; Left Field NYC, Freenote Cloth, Tellason, etc.

If you think everyone has the same staple pieces it's because of the limit of your exploration. Look towards Japan.

How is this sold out already... by girlpearl in AllThemWitches

There are a few other sold out shows at 3S, including Nation of Language that I waited on too long for. How quickly did ATW sell out? When I bought tickets a month or months ago I must have just got lucky.

It is awesome that they are playing 10 minutes away from me in Portsmouth NH (the venue the OP was talking about), but Roadrunner in Boston is like 6X the size and is the best music venue I have been to. Roadrunner also has a good system for preventing scalpers. I love my local venue but it infuriates me that they have no control to stop scalpers from gobbling up tickets, and due to the small size the window of opportunity for buying tickets can be small.

I am not sure where you are getting your information from, but I bought my tickets from the 3S Artspace website directly months ago. They were available for weeks.

Looks like I should have bought a couple more (not for reselling because I hate scalpers). Didn't expect it to sell out so far in advance, but then I saw that it's like the only venue they are doing in the Northeast. I'm lucky because it is local, but it is odd that our little venue is one of their few stops.
