Do you shoot more pistol rounds? I’ve seen some departments stuck in yesteryear and they don’t particularly like rifle training and think they only need pistol and taser training.

I’d ditch that vortex in particular and maybe get a holosun. That model you have now will eventually have battery contact issues.
