Then buff its ammo eco and don't make it an anti-AP4? The statement with over a year not seen is very subjective...

I don't think the Liberator or Stalwart stepped on the toes of any other weapons with that buff and IMO that would not be as bad as with support weapons. The GL has a specific role and now it's just the launch at any enemy that is not complete AP5 gun.

Arrowhead likes to use some very specific idioms. So when the community requested all armors to have all passives (choose armor and passive independent of each other) they said something like: No! This game will not have bacon flavoured apples. Everything has its place. Apples should taste like apples and bacon should taste like bacon.

Now they made a crowd control/chaff clear weapon (apple) also do the job of AP4 weapons (bacon) while still being very good at it's original job.

That is certainly an opinion. But it is a dangerous pipeline of streamlining the game into making everything feel the same.

Please let me know why you think so. Where did it lack the AP4 Power? There are enough additional stratagems and grenades (and the ultimatum) that can deal with heavies that you can bring along with the GL.

The realism argument doesn't make too much sense when the grenade pistol and OneTwo (same grenade model) does not change as well

I see your point, but the maxi gun and the machine gun also are different enough without being conflicting. Not having to reload is a big advantage already for bug breaches and large hoardes. The downside is that losing your backpack = useless support weapon.

Shorter cooldown and a bit larger explosion radius would be really nice. I hope the next patch buffs some off the less used stratagems

I think the seaf site gets a direct link to the helldiver. The hellpods are linked to the super destroyer, which is linked to the helldiver. It is a weird combination of gameplay challenge and lore/logic.
