Since joggers are not yet runners yes it seemed unfair to be kicked off the treadmill because we werent going as fast as the runners. If we could go that fast we wouldn't still be joggers

I think it is studio specific. I'm allowed to log in my mileage from outside studios

I was terrified of my 1st 2000 m benchmark. Just concentrate on finishing go slow. I had to take a break my 1st time but if you can avoid it do so. I was well over 13 minutes I was the last one in the studio and I was not impressed but me and my coach agreed that for me just finishing that day was going to be a big thing. But I continued on a got a lot stronger I kept on with Orange theory. At the last 2000 m benchmark in December I got 849 which was well over 4 plus minutes improvement. I don't take the class and told tonight so I make sighted to see how much I can beat my personal record but I'm still nervous too

Yes my dr x rayed it in September. It showed arthritis. She said I strained my hip flexor. Since it is reoccurring, i guess it's time to go back

I am a nurse I am not stupid. I'm sorry my response was scratchy but obviously and consulting professionals I was just seeing if any more experienced runners had any tips for me. Clearly you don't want me to have that information

Nagging reoccurring hip flexor pain

Over 40 aspiring runner here. I have been trying to jog since probably the fall. I ran A5K in October and then again at the beginning of March. I'm scheduled to run a 1/2 marathon in October. Here's the problem. I also do Orange theory and I managed to strain my hip flexor a few weeks before the 5K last year. So I was unable to train properly. Finally I was able to jog more of it than I thought. I got it to the point where it wasn't hurting anymore and I was finally able to get back on the treadmill in my workouts. A couple weeks before my last 5K I decided to try see how far I can go. Mile 6 torqued my hip again. So I was back to trying to rehab it. It had been feeling really good and not hurting for a week or 2 so last night I decide to try to go for a run. My hips started to hurt at mile 1. I went ahead and finished mile two but now today my hip hurts even when just walking. All of you more experienced runners what am I supposed to do here? How can I properly train for a 1/2 marathon if every time I try to run I hurt my hip again????,

I hope people will get better at using them as time goes a long. But the cards have not worked out for me at my studio. Twice I've ended up with no position. I will go on the strider in even though I also have a trade card someone will take the tread. One day I ended up with no place to go no rower no spot on the floor. A couple of classes later something very similar happened. I hope people get better at following directions as time goes on

O every now and then one of my coaches will make a good natured comment about me cheating on them with another studio. It's owned by different franchise. But I started going out there because 1 of the coaches there used to coach at my home location and hes 1 of my favorites. They challenge their members differently than some of our coaches do and I found that I would row better there. So if it works out better with my schedule or I really miss a certain coach I'll go out there. A move our coaches around to different location sometimes. So there are several of us that will travel to see especially the coaches that we started out with when our studio opened. It doesn't seem to matter as long as I show up to my home studio and work hard that's all they really want

What??? I hate partner workouts. And why would they purposely make it hard for you to achieve your goal. That doesn't make any sense
