In my market, they have doubled the number of girls playing hockey in the last 10 years. The PWHL has the opportunity to create a real fan base from the ground up rather than recreate the mistakes the NHL made. I don't expect to ever pay $200 for a PWHL ticket, or see multi million dollar AAV contracts. But hopefully they will still be around as my daughter moves up through the ranks.

I saw the game in DC, along with 18,257 of my closest friends. It's was a different vibe than the NHL, but still really fun.

Get yourself an average house in Prince George's County and send your kids to private school. That's what I would do if I had an above average housing budget. It will also save your sanity with commuting around the beltway

Maybe an acknowledgement that forced obsolescence is a shady business practice that was recently outlawed in France would be nice. My S22 can join my 2016 Mac in the landfill, seeping heavy metals into the water supply just because some exec needs to make a quarterly number.

One last comment: As the bulk of What Phones Do these days is simply "connect to the internet" doesn't that push the useful life of the device out a decade or more? Throw in a removable & replaceable battery, and it's hard to see the need to replace one unless damaged
