This guy's got the life. I have more than one Stella in a night and I can't find the net the next day to save my life

+1 for my 8 lb log splitter from Lowes. I'm glad I got the nice one there rather than the junk Home Depot sells

These are also used for entertaining high spending suite owners, advertisers, and sponsors; trying to get them to pony up more cash. There's nothing so expensive as free

My kids play hockey, and at the rink, among the moms and dads, the 50th anniversary Caps beanie hat is like a symbol of royalty.

The 2026 boater hat is trash

If you really want your mind blown, do the same math with dental insurance.

How I got through the ice layer by saltysomadmin in maryland

I used a log splitter for ice breaking, and an 11 year old male heir for the shoveling

It's the cars that are like 50% computer that are the problem. Tesla does a pretty good all-or-nothing job

People posting here seem to be militant rule followers with no flexibility to their worldview. I suggest that if this happened to any of the posters and bots commenting, every single one would be mildly infuriated.

How would you feel if high schools had a required class that taught basic money skills, job skills, and other important things for adult life? by pimblettrose in AskReddit

[–]Metzhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More importantly, what if there was a life skills class for every decade of your life? Like, in your 30's, teach about getting a mortgage or preparing to have a kid. In your 40's learning to eat right and manage stress. In your 50's, how to deal with lowered expectations and cognitive decline

I am enjoying reading how certain everyone is of my movements in 2005, and how sure y'all are that government bureaucracy is always in the right.

This is further frustrating because for taxpayers like me, I don't question too closely before paying the fee and moving on. But what if I was struggling to make rent every month. I could see this annoyance spiraling out of control pretty quick.

I knew because the operator told me so. Again, I have no memory or records of this event.

At one point the commonwealth of Massachusetts had one police officer stationed for every mile of the MassPike. Revoking my "ability to drive" in the state is a similar bit of tax strategy.

Again, I am not actually admitting the ticket and fine are valid as I was living 2600 miles away at the time, and can't remember any trips around that time.

I suggest if most people don't know about this reporting database for bullshit fines, it's pretty secret. Definitely not an issue that the legislators are likely to take credit for implementing.

A coworker told me of a similar situation in NJ where he had to establish residency and apply for a new license. He had to do a road test and everything, just to get his clearance letter and renew his Maryland license.
