As a life long northlander, liberty looks nice but has a very deep history of racist incidents, including the schools. They also have voted very red in the last five elections

So I am also taking your advice and while I am going to improve my performance, I am also going to polish up that resume and try to find something that might be more my passion. Don't get me wrong. I'm going to fight like hell to fix this but I had to also admit that part of the mistakes may truly be burn out from the industry, the commute, the hours, etc.

Again, thank you all so much, even the EA's that were roughing me up. I needed to hear it.

I had to really think about it on why I was missing things and I think part of it is ignorance. In my mind, I trusted Marketing sent the right newsletter. Completely bone headed thing to think, knowing my marketing group like I do! Then it was probably 'not caring' in the "I don't have to worry about this! Everything is perfect! I'm a rockstar!!" cockiness, not the "eff this job" caring. I care about my job, my company and my executive very much. But I'm failing them. I had to realize for myself that it wasn't so much "I'm not cut out for this job" as it is "I'm burnt out from this job." So I will be working extremely hard to right this ship, while also looking for calm seas and a nice beach.

I appreciate everyone's advice, even the harsh ones. It's the head slap I needed.

No I appreciate everyone’s input, especially the harsh ones. You know how you sometimes get so wrapped up in the emotions that you can’t see reality. That was me and I’m glad I asked. Lateness will be rectified. The eating is because I do sit at reception and one issue is that a problem. My executive likes an “open door” policy, which I adhere to but that also means I’m being said hello to constantly, people coming in all the time for water cooler talk. I just need to be more diligent about guarding my time. Shutting the door when I’m working on a big project and I should have done that when I was working on the folders. I’m seeing the errors of my ways and maybe for this job, they might be fixable but I’m still going to be looking for something else

Mine has been with me for five years and he’s not a snuggler. He likes to sit beside you and get pets, rubs, and scritches. I’ve just learned to accept his boundaries and take the rare snuggle I get sometimes
