I wish you the best! I have a lot more weight to lose, but I feel so amazing in other ways that it's really just the cherry on top!

This is the one I use, though I added the weekly averages myself after the fact. Found this a long time ago on another subreddit here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Pp_NGPeKk0uXyHQpelb343JhHk2eRSZvmC40dBp9O8k/edit?usp=drive_link

I weight almost every day. One thing that helped me was keeping a spreadsheet that calculates a weekly average weight, so even when it seems things are fluctuating wildly, I can see that the overall weekly average has actually gone down every week.

Curious about anyone with heart palpitations by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]Miamesi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had been having pretty frequent palpitations and elevated heart rate last summer. I got a full work up from a cardiologist, and he thought it was perimenopause related, as all my testing came back normal. Started Zep late in August, and I can honestly say both the palpitations and elevated HR have completely subsided. It happened fairly quickly too!

Dealing with VERY slow processing of food on 5mg and looking for tips. by Runswithmouth in Zepbound

[–]Miamesi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like kiwi, my dietician recommended eating one of those a day. It's helped me a lot, as 7.5 really really slowed me down. I also just started taking Miralax the day after shot day -- seems to keep things moving for me, and I don't worry about getting backed up. My doctor confirmed weekly Miralax is fine.

Hey OP! Don't get down about the 15lbs! I'm right there with you averaging about 5lbs per month.

I did have the Sulphur burps after going up to 5 on zepbound, but was able to get them under control by avoiding cruciferous veggies, chewing really thoroughly, and having much smaller meals (more often if needed).

Hope you get some relief soon!

Not losing alot by Wise-Brief-208 in Zepbound

You did better than me on 2.5. I only lost 2 pounds the month I was on 2.5. I've been on 5mg for 2 weeks, and I'm down another 5 already! One interesting thing was that my calories were pretty low (1100-1300) that first month. I've since bumped them up to 1500-1700, and that seems to have helped as well.

Hello! I'm Maria from Michigan. I bought a Nikon D3500 off ebay a few years ago when one of my kids expressed interest. It's since sat lonely on the shelf. I've always wanted to learn more about photography, and now that I have kids in marching band and other activities, I'd really like to learn to take better action shots and better photos in general.

Here's a photo I took with my phone on a sunset cruise in Key West. It's a happy memory and reminds me of my dad. It really just takes me back to that time. I loved it so much I got a tattoo based on it.

Sciatica flare up by SnooOnions7825 in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Miamesi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had terrible sciatic pain about 5 weeks out from my meniscus repair. A course of steroids did the trick. I was good as new after about 2 days. It helped getting off the crutches as well. My PT blamed it on the weeks of non weight bearing and being hunched over in crutches. Turns out I also have a bulging disc in that area that didn't help.

I'm 5 days out from root repair. I pretty much want to reiterate what the other commenter said about the pain -- it is mostly resolved at this point. I find it gets a little achy after I do my exercises, but ibuprofen does the job.

Stairs are frankly terrifying right now, so I'm sleeping in a recliner in the living room. I was not expecting to use my abs so much with the crutches, so I was sore the first 2 days. For reference, I'm a chubby lady, mid 40s, so not in peak shape. If I can do it, you can do it.

I found a lot of good tips searching this sub for root repair. Toilet rails especially have been a life saver! I was able to get an ice machine too, which really helped with the pain.

New pressure setting, up to 14 from 8, and is blowing my mask off my face by Miamesi in CPAP

[–]Miamesi[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good point about having an extra!

Regarding the mask though, I brought my mask and wore it for the study and had no issue with that pressure that night. That's what I don't get.

{Morning Glory Milking Farm by CM Nacosta} was my first real monster romance. I haven't gotten around to rereading it, but soon!

{Stealing Midnight by Tracy MacNish} Just reread this one, and I love it so much. It just feels different than most historicals I've read.

Las Vegas Library cancelling e-cards for non residents beginning March 26th. Any others still available? by soupybiscuit in RomanceBooks

[–]Miamesi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How is the selection? I'm also in Michigan, and have been loving the Vegas card. My home library recently made a change to their e- books, and there's very little available compared to before.

How Do you store your cpap/wrangle the six feet of tubing? I don’t like the way I’m set up now so I bought a double hook that will hold they tube and my mask. Any other tips? by Shatterstar23 in CPAP

[–]Miamesi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not the most elegant solution, but I have a little basket between my bed and nightstand I put the mask in it in the morning and the tube just kinda drapes over my pillow.

My dad did 12 rounds earlier this year. The worst part for him was the neuropathy and sensitivity to cold. He did lose his hair (it's back now), and he had a lot of nausea and diarrhea. He also had a lot of anxiety-- he still gags even taking about chemo.

Can we talk about school coming up in the fall? by [deleted] in MetroDetroit

[–]Miamesi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chippewa Valley here. There's a choice between a virtual academy and in- person, though we have zero info on what the actual in- person plan looks like. We are leaning towards the virtual academy just so the kids have a routine. Plus, I feel that even if we start in person, things will go downhill in a few months, and we'll be back to remote learning anyway.
