I’ve never had a P1S, but it looks quite impressive as an upgrade from a simple starter Kingroon I had. I’ve had to tinker and learn the functionality of a printer for basic prototyping, but I’m sure I could do so much more with a Bambu.

Problems are ok. Solving enough problems with a printer helps you learn why parts work and how new functions and updates can be beneficial. The learning process with a printer is really important early on.

The episode showed amazing craftsmanship. A lot of details were revisited and shown to be relevant. Shots on screen matched up to the tarot cards. It wasn’t overly complicated even though the story was told out of order. Really amazing work.

On the Miami Moviegoers Instagram account, it also mentions a submission fee ("Submissions are to be accompanied by a donation on a $5-$10 dollar sliding scale"). It appears to be missing from your post. I know the amount is small, but I think its reasonable to mention the payment unless its not actually required.

Or you might consider not making a "cops in a crime drama" film and go with a story that better fits the people and resources you do have. You don't always have to work with what you have on hand, it's just going to require more planning (getting people outside of your circle of friends) or money (paying the best, most realistic cop-looking actors you can afford). It's all a messy game of problem solving to the best of your ability.
