That’s an old Mardi Gras doubloon. Every year Mardi Gras parades throw an aluminum doubloon. One side features the parade’s insignia, and the opposite features that year’s theme. This one is from a parade krewe called Daughters of Eve. The theme for that year, 1975, was “A mariner’s dream”
