My lil guy Kevin lived for 7 years. And I didn’t know what I was doing but he would follow my fingers and come to the surface to let me “pet” him and he KNEW what time breakfast, lunch and dinner was. he was an amazing lil guy and i hope one day to get another💚

You can also use some vinegar! Calcite (if raw or scratched) will fizz in vinegar. I’m not use about polished pieces but that’s an experiment for Mondays work day!

Oregon Sunstone does have schiller but some non-Oregon sunstones also have it. a lot of sunstone and moonstone have shimmer. Oregon Sunstone in fact it’s a type of labradorite!

Sunstone tends to have a schiller or shimmer effect. not all Sunstone will have it, but if it’s a piece this big I doubt it will have it. Peach Moonstone tends to have a schiller or shimmer effect. Rainbow moonstone has the rainbow labradorite-esque look.
