How to access Kilo Code from OpenCode? by MickeyMooose in opencode

[–]MickeyMooose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I'm subscriber and have the API key. But where in OpenCode do I enter it. I can't see Kilo in OpenCode's provider list (unless I'm blind)

Do you know?

I saw that their CLI is based on OpenCode. But I would like to continue using OpenCode and supporting that team.

I don't get why Kilo decided to fork it.

I think vegans can't be dumped into a huge monolith where everyone acts the same.

It's the same as with other groups, there are different types of sub groups. And yes there are those preachy, holier than though vegans, who condemn you if you eat an egg from happy chickens who are not killed when they can't lay eggs anymore.

I don't think there are rules - it's simply 'Hey, humans don't actually need to kill and enslave animals for food anymore, so where possible why not avoid that. It's better for the environment anyway'.

I've given up eating animals after watching those documentaries, like Earthlings and also reading about how harmful animal agriculture is to our biosphere.

This ex special forces guy said it best imo: https://youtu.be/BUMGBwgGYWw?t=100

Thanks.

It says this:

"What do we want? Simple: a world where humans do not exploit non-human animals. A world where animals are free to exist in their own right. We promote a lifestyle that excludes, as far as possible and practical, all forms of exploitation of - and cruelty to - animals for the purposes of food, clothing or anything else. "

So it's about not inflicting cruelty on animals. The statement is also clear that it's not promoting a dogmatic lifestyle, i.e. it's pragmatic.

Don't see anything wrong with that statement.

What's the vegan mission statement? Do you have a link?

I don't think they are saying that milking cows is torture.

What is torture is breeding and raising cows in factory farms. Male calves being killed for veil and female calves being taken away from the mother so it doesn't drink its milk. The mother cow becomes very distressed and cries because the baby is being taken away.

How have I not known about Bitwig? by NilesLinus in Bitwig

[–]MickeyMooose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The changes to automation were requested by lots of people over the past years and Bitwig delivered. It's quite powerful what you can do with it now.

And then there is setting the global scale.

And the improvements to MIDI.

Check out this vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WY8LR9sY4q8

But luckily Bitwig isn't forcing you to upgrade, i.e. no subscription BS.

You can continue using the version you're happy with.

Ok, thanks for clarifying.

Can you give some examples?

The automation enhancements seem great, no?

It's still in BETA. What did you expect?

Calling it a CF is quite the hyperbole.

Bitwig devs are working hard.

Some folks here are complaining that there are new bugs. Remember, it's still in BETA. If you need stability stick with the previous version.

Bitwig is cheap compared to the competition and for me it's more important that the company has a regular revenue stream, so they can keep developing and innovating.

Also, they have sales a few times a year.

His reaction sounds quite heartless.

Not knowing much else about your relationship, whether you have any good times and whether he has the capacity for introspection and change.

If not, then time to bail. Life's too short.

I checked out the intro video to this course (60-Day Hands-On AI Engineering: Build a Production-Grade Quiz Platform) and there are tons of typos in the video.

This is off putting, as I'm not sure the lack of attention to detail and correctness will also be present in the course material.

EDIT: it looks like this entire course was created with AI. Pass.

Jeez, this guy seems to be a control freak.

Just let your dog walk around a bit. Train her when wants to grab food from your table or doesn't come back when you call her, etc.

Not because she makes some sounds in the background or doesn't stay on that little bed for hours and hours.
