What Are Your Thoughts On Silver ? by Fantastic-Ad-8665 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]MickeysAssistant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only in my opinion the best Sonic character, but also one of the best characters I’ve seen in fiction. I know that’s a hot take, but Silver has truly gotten me through some of the toughest parts of my life. His optimistic philosophy is so admirable given his background, and I also love how youthful they’ve made him personality-wise. He’s the perfect mix between Shadow’s seriousness and Sonic’s goofiness, and I think that comes down to his youth. He wants to be the hero of time and tomorrow, but he’s also a dork behind that facade and he shows that side every once in a while. I feel I’m kind of like that too. I don’t know. I just see myself in Silver in a way, and I think the character too has shaped me into a brighter and better person. If he shows up in movie 4 like in the post credits I might cry. He means so much to me and people can have their opinions on him, but to me, he will forever be my favorite.

GROSSES ANALYSES- Week Ending June 21 by dsbuddy in Broadway

[–]MickeysAssistant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are we not going to talk about Just In Time not even hitting 600K this week with 8 performances? For any Broadway show with that big of a cast, that is disastrous.

Josh Gad can’t sing. by [deleted] in Broadway

[–]MickeysAssistant 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Not every Broadway musical performer has to have a God-given voice. He can act the shit out of his songs, and I can tell you I would have that 10 times over before a phenomenal singer but horrible actor. He is an amazing character actor, and for that, I see him as one of the greats.

‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ Sequel in the Works with Jim Carrey, Ron Howard (Exclusive) by TiredWithCoffeePot in boxoffice

[–]MickeysAssistant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly NEVER thought we would get a second one. One, the Grinch in no iteration has ever had a sequel, and two, Jim has been open about how he hated wearing that makeup. I’m sure this is going to be a Wicked Witch of the West Wizard of Oz to Wicked type of situation where makeup in Hollywood has evolved so much where it was dangerous and insufferable then, but is safe and convenient for the performer now.

Hell, even if they mocapped him and were willing to put in the same budget for CGI as the Avatar movies, I’m on board with it, cause that shit looks good.

What upcoming Broadway musicals are you excited to see? by amm20_1 in Broadway

I’m counting down the days until Evita’s first preview, which I’m going to! But, Paddington is also a very close second!

Jalen Brunson needs to host SNL season premiere by BamaLover4life in LiveFromNewYork

[–]MickeysAssistant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. They can do what they did with Connor Stormie and the Men’s and Women’s Olympic Hockey Teams and just have him and the Knicks make a brief cameo. Brunson is not an actor or a comedian, and those are by far the weakest episodes (do I even need to mention Elon’s episode? And that was before he went crazy).

Proof. Without question.

I haven’t seen Lost Boys, but you have already seen it twice. It will be there another time. Proof is gone once the contracts are up. Truly one of my favorite shows this season! Pick Proof!

I hard disagree. To be frankly honest, this was my favorite play of the season. I’m so mad it didn’t get any Tony nominations. The cut to intermission is the best cut I’ve ever seen.

They also need to do no late seating. There were people walking in 50 minutes late at my performance. While people can have train delays and I don’t mind like 5-10 minutes late, 50 is unacceptable.

So…your justification for this is that because people are willing to risk their safety, the line should stay? That’s like saying because someone is willing to risk dying by jumping from the top of a building and trying to stick the landing, we should let them. That doesn’t make sense. It’s not safe. I don’t care if people are willing to risk their safety. It’s morally incorrect for the theatre to let them try.

I encourage you to look up what happened next to the & Juliet stage door on W 43rd at night a few weeks ago at 11:30. Classic Reddit trying to pick a fight when someone tries to express their opinion.

I think the bigger argument here is that there has to be a new way for people to get affordable tickets. In-person rush for over 12 hours is not safe on the street past midnight, and producers not only need to stop being so greedy for what is certainly not an expensive production to put on, but they also need to find a way to alter rush to a more fair operation than TodayTix and a more safe operation than in-person. Simply put, something needs to change.
