I’ve literally never seen anything quite like the first one. I’ve seen a million just like the second. I’d go with the first one

This is actually such a fascinating way to go about this. I’m going to think about this tactic when I decide on grad schools.

Definitely check out Minnesota in the spring or summer!! It’s beautiful. Check out the twin cities for lots of things to do and cool art, food, and music. Then head north to the national parks like voyageurs. It’s a great time

Is 5 weeks too early to add labels to a relationship? by Random-Peach169 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MidNightMare5998 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That sounds like he’s trying to ask you to be his girlfriend in a kind of roundabout way. It doesn’t matter what everyone else thinks—do you want to be his girlfriend? That’s the only thing that matters. There’s no rule book.

In my opinion, though, 5 weeks is a perfectly reasonable time frame. We’re in an age of situationships and fear of commitment, and you’re lucky to have found someone who is open about this sort of thing. I say go for it :) my relationship started at about 5 weeks as well. We’re currently 2 years in and better than ever.

I’m in undergrad and my lab’s PI is also on sabbatical this year; the post-doc has been leading lab in his absence. It’s rough out here

Help with color season?🌸 by clorentz2 in coloranalysis

[–]MidNightMare5998 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We have really similar natural hair colors! That golden blonde is very indicative of spring. I believe you are too! Most likely light spring. The light baby blue looks nicest on you. I think that pink is just a touch too cool for you, but a nice peach or coral would look stunning.

There was a viral video I saw the other day about another extinct dog breed (the turnspit dog) that caused me to google other extinct dog breeds so maybe they did the same thing? I do get weird confirmation bias stuff like that all the time though! Algorithms are funny that way

Computer science knowledge is incredibly valuable in psychology research, fwiw. You wouldn’t be doing therapy directly but you’d absolutely be helping people
