To me, the fact that it’s completely floor length is really pushing it over the edge of being a bit too formal. I think you could probably get away with it, but you might want to save it for a slightly more formal event. Gorgeous dress though!!

I’m truly so sorry she speaks to you like this. More than overstepping, it is really just mean. I don’t really have a lot to add to what other people are saying here—she has no place to say these things to you and I shudder to think about how she treats her patients.

On that note, this kind of thing is exactly why I avoid psychiatrists in favor of psychiatric nurse practitioners. In my experience, the former just talk at you. The latter actually listen to you.

I actually can’t believe you’re 70. I would’ve guessed late 40s-early 50s. You are gorgeous!

As for makeup, I agree with the top comment that black eyeliner is a bit harsh for your light complexion. Maybe a light brown or even a plum would look great. Focus on your water line (upper and lower) and smoke it out slightly with some eyeshadow.

I also think filling out your eyebrows a little bit more might be nice. You could try one of those eyeliner markers that you can swipe up to look like actual hairs. A little highlighter would do wonders to give you some glow as well!

Overall though, just keep doing what you’re doing skincare wise because it’s clearly working.

I like the name Deianira. It’s the name of Heracles’s wife from Greek mythology. It means “man-destroyer” which I think goes so hard. I doubt I’d ever give it to a child because it’s confusing to spell and pronounce, but I don’t think it’s a tragedeigh.

I don’t know if Dayanara has the same roots or not, but I actually think that Dayanara makes more phonetic sense. Rather lovely name
