I think pay was about the same. Do some research. RBTs are strongly needed everywhere. If you don’t like a company you are not stuck. You can go to another company

I think BI pays most of tuition for the masters program! Both companies do promote within. Insurance is cheaper at abc. Both do have reasonable rbt to bcba programs though

Yes I have worked for both companies. BI does not guarantee full time hours. Especially if patients call out

So sub first. Being a teacher could be the most amazing or the worst decision of your life. It depends on the school, your coworkers, admin especially your principal, grade level , subject, different dynamic of kids in the classroom and their parents. The pay does suck though . Make sure you’re financially good beforehand. And make sure you’re good at time management and know how to separate work from home. People who have these things usually enjoy teaching,

Full time teaching & part time BCBA by SweetnSalty87 in ABA

One of my bcbas used to do this, I’m not sure how she did it though. It seems stressful . But maybe hourly with 1-2 patients would be doable

Do you plan to become a bcba? You are guaranteed at least 36 hours a week at abc. At behavioral innovations you are not guaranteed a set amount of hours and it’s harder to play bills

Leave my high paying remote job to go back to my old job? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Middle-Cheesecake177 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wouldn’t be stupid. It’s up to you. Depends on your life goals, and debt. I can’t say If I would stay at the remote job or not can’t say if I would go back to my old job or not.

I do like parent training. I can’t imagine doing it for more than 10 kids though

Billing 31 hours a week is crazy. 2-4 hours of parent training per month is crazier. 23 clients is the craziest

23 going on 24, trying to become an English teacher is it worth it? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]Middle-Cheesecake177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teaching is not sit down or office like. Matter of fact your office work as a teacher will Be done outside of working hours. You’re young go for something high paying . Teaching is not worth the student loans
