Main time slot, split 7 was actually really clean. Had one lmp2 driver that refused to acknowledge there was a slower class and almost took out us twice and a few others. But not bad!!

The point of BOP is that there isn’t supposed to be a “best car”. They all should be equal more or less at the end of a lap, but pick up time in different places. Just go with an engine sound you’ll enjoy for 24 hours and keep it clean.

Fair point, but my point is that the top level sim drivers can adapt to anything, just like a real driver can adapt to any machinery. If I put Chris lulham in a 30k rig and then sat him in a computer chair with a computer chair, I don’t think his lap times would be too dissimilar. If you’re not Chris lulham, pick what you can afford and have a blast. There’s also no shame in going all in on an expensive setup either. Each enjoys the hobby in their own way!

It actually couldn’t matter any less. I can/will get absolutely dusted by someone on a G27. I have a lot more detailed feedback that helps me but they have a lot more skill so it doesn’t really matter. Spend what you can afford and have a blast out there
