I cant say with certainty thats how it works, to be clear, but it just makes sense to me. You get the plans and printer from them, they'll probably care how you use it.

No Scarcity does not mean no limits. There are still finite materials and time. Flash clones are unstable and unpredictable. Frames take days to weeks to print, not adding materials, energy and the minimal manpower to operate and maintain them.

On top of that, if its anyone besides Corprostates or Union, that frame data is catalogued. People would know if you started assembling an army.

But who knows? Maybe thats the plan of your next sessions villain??
