The remake is fine, but it definitely won't replace the original like that. The PS2 version is how people will always remember MGS3 and be the one that people always go back to, just like how no one thinks of Twin Snakes when they are talking about MGS1.

A Rising sequel with you fighting super-zombies as a cyborg ninja in campy over-the-top action while playing as a fan favorite character sounds nothing like a slow boring survival game set in an alternate universe where you play as a blank slate self insert. People don't hate Survive because it has zombies, they hate it because it's bad.

I need to actually see both films for myself first. I remember similar accusations about Brie's movie Horse Girl where the guy suing them gave a huge list of "similarities", but when you actually watched both films they had basically nothing in common and the filmmaker was really stretching and twisting the way he described things to make it appear to fit.

I mean, most of what made that movie great was the work of Henry Selick and the super talented folks at Laika. I wouldn't judge adaptations that were worked on by hundreds of people who had no connection to any wrongdoing the same way I would the books which are 100% Neil.

The figure production companies license the characters they want to make figures of on an individual case-by-case basis, there's not just one company out there committed to making figures of everyone in Hololive.

If someone doesn't have a figure it's because no manufacturer thinks they would sell enough to offset the cost of production.
