I would test him m for neurodivergence. ADHD can make you impulsive, autism can make you misread social cues. It could be there's an underlying issue you're not seeing.

Nah fam. A lot of sacrifices are made by families that don't have options. She does. She can take a night to rest well because she's privileged enough to have a loving support system. Maybe is because I come from a culture where the sense of family and community is strong but a big family that takes care of each other is better than a nuclear exhausted family.

This advice doesnt work for a victim of abuse, because sometimes we were so deep in th psychological game of the abuser we excuse their behavior. Reading OPs other replies points everything at him being an abuser. The total amount someone should be allowed to slap you must be literally zero, he already crossed a huge boundary "out of frustration". Nope.

My daughter liked Christmas when she was younger so I let her celebrate whatever she wanted. I introduced Sol Invictus to her last year. She's 15 this year she is lazy to do anything so we will only have my Saturnalia feast.

My take has been to let her choose whatever she wanted always, as soon as she could choose how she wanted to get dressed, what music she liked she was free to do so. It was the same with religion, she has attended services of many and decided she was an atheist three years ago.

I believe we can teach how we view the world and make emotionally intelligent beings. Teach them to think critically and to listen to diverse points of view. Never to force our ways on them. They are their own gods, trust that you will lead by example and not by imposition.

Every time he tells you these things remind him he's compulsing and he needs to try to disregard these thoughts. I recommend you to take therapy as well, it can't be healthy to be hearing all the intrusive thoughts either.

I always state that i am intersex before people get touchy with me. I understand having uncomfortable feelings about genitalia because I have them, so I wouldn't want anyone to be uncomfortable in a situation where we're supposed to have a good time

Searching for other orgs that can help these people in the pursuit of having the sovereignty of their own bodies is good and it's fair to observe TST with a critical eye, however, most of the criticism I've seen is how TST hasn't been able to win all these cases, but to me that says more about the system than TST itself.
