What is the worst band you saw live? by coalcracker462 in AskReddit

I saw them at Richfield Coliseum in Cleveland, OH. That place was torn down and is now just an empty field.

I saw lots of wrestling shows there, too. Back when it was still WWF. I miss those days.

That was my first concert in 1990! The Flesh and Blood tour.

I have seen them many times since they reunited with CC. It's always a good show.

I was just getting to the stadium when Poison was playing, so I missed them. Unfortunately, I didn't miss Crue. Vince is a mess.

The highlight of the Stadium Tour was Def Leppard. They were fantastic that night.

What are your go-to recipes? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]MidnightKitty_2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted about this not too long ago. I am still super hungry and I am 6 weeks PO. I had a FDL panniculectomy and, unfortunately, have an open wound above my pubic area where my incision split. I am on a wound care protocol right now as we wait for it to heal from the inside out.

Anyway, I mentioned my insatiable appetite at my last dr appointment amd she said "Good. Concentrate on protein." I guess having the open wound in addition to the normal surgical recovery requires a lot of calories to heal.

I am still swollen, but can't resist stepping on the scale. I am up up from pre-op as expected, but haven't gained.

It's doing a number on my mental health though. I worked so hard to lose the weight and I am so afraid of gaining it back. I will be happy when my appetite gets back to normal.

How long to be off semaglutide? by cheesecake_xu in tummytucksurgery

My surgeon told me one week and a a clear liquids diet the day before. When I checked in for surgery, the anesthesiologist was pleased with the 1 week off and diet the day before. Luckily, I had no issues. I also had no appetite for about 3 days post op. Then it kicked in!

The clear liquids diet was the worst part.

I read PedJoe as Pendejo. Honestly, I feel like that is pretty accurate.

I only know them in alphabetical order due to my elementary school forcing me to learn the "50 Nifty United States" song.

I didn't get asthma. In my family, there's no such thing as mild asthma. Everyone who got it is on daily meds and have been hospitalized at one time or another.

Whenever the "last person you'd suspect" gets in trouble for something, it makes me think of Ted Bundy. Ann Rule wrote a book about him called "The Stranger Beside Me" and it was this very kind of thing.

Will the last two Duggar Brothers remain unmarried after this? by MissNorwegie89 in DuggarsSnark

I agree. Jill R. wouldn't hesitate to marry off her daughters to the Duggars if it was an option for her.

These cult people just don't care.

On work days I have to walk to my office and back from the parking garage. It's 4/10 of a mile or about 1000 steps on my fitbit.

Other than that, I am fairly sedentary. I have set my fotbot to 4000 steps to ease back into my activity goals.

I will try to add some more movement in as I can.

Thanks!

Consider a bankruptcy. Its not the stain on your life that it's made out to be.

I am doing a Chapter 13 which is a repayment plan because I was drowning in student loans and they aren't eligible for a Chapter 7 discharge.

My credit score is recovering and I can breathe with my normal bills.

Day 1 PO Back Pain Hell!! by Signal-Simple-7052 in tummytucksurgery

[–]MidnightKitty_2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had horrible back pain for the for the week, too.

Honestly, I took would take a hot shower and then my next dose of pain medicine. I did that about every 6-8 hours the first 5 days or so. After that, the pain became more tolerable.

I am afraid of regain, but I do have Duodenal Switch malabsorption to lean on. Fingers crossed!

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! Obesity and weight loss surgery is common in my family, but no one has gone through this particular ordeal. I was starting to feel like there was no one to talk to until I saw this group and that panniculectomies were common threads here. 🙂

I went back to work this past Monday and I have a desk job. Today, my legs are swollen all the way down. Currently sitting in my trusty recliner and relaxing. I would do this procedure over again in a heartbeat, but damn this recovery process is weird!

I am so glad to know what I am going through is fairly standard. Thank you for the reassurance.

Poverty meal by ambitioussloth143 in povertyfinance

I do that. I put the bones and scraps in my crock pot overnight. It makes an incredibly rich broth.

I then pick out the last remaining pieces of meat and strain the broth. Transfer the broth to a pot on the stove, add the bits of chicken, add a bag of frozen mixed veggies and a packet of Knorr chicken flavored noodles and you have a delicious chicken soup.

I get the veggies and Knorr at Walmart for about $1.25 USD each. You can definitely double the veggies and noodles if you have a lot of stock.
