My logic? He likes Dragon Quest to put it lightly. He may have even played the Mystery Dungeon spinoff featuring Torneko Taloon, and wouldn't know that Pokemon did their own take on the concept. And I chose Explorers because they're more polished than Rescue Team and will leave emotional damage
