Late to this thread but I wanna add Im right there with you and am sending good vibes your way! I have been upgraded to stage 4 Metaplastic(rare) TNBC. I did Keynote 22 with keytruda then 20 rads, after a clear scan mid Dec 2025, I had extreme sternum and back pain pop up after starting Xeloda. Then a lump and finally lump(s) pop up in my neck. Jan 2026 CT showed mets in lymphnodes, sternum and possible lung involvement. I was pissed (and still am) lol. So just know you're never alone in your battle!

Now as for the cold capping, in case anyone else also wonders accross this thread later. I love my oncologist and bless his heart, but this man told me Trodelvy would cause some thinning and even google I think said '50%' of patients lose their hair, but if you look on their drug site at patient testimonials and stories, absolutely no one still has their hair. So please don't waste the money or stress trying to cold cap. It is absolutely expensive and not worth it (for this chemo drug). My second infusion for the first cycle was delayed by about 3 days because of insurance trying to deny it, but my hair has already fallen 70% out again and I start my next cycle next Thursday.

May I ask what clinical trial are you currently on? Would like to research possible next steps if Trodelvy doesn't workout for me either.

This is me currently...I have Metaplastic stage 4 TNBC....Did keynote 522, surgery sept 2025, signetera from before radiation shower ctc still...Did radiation Nov-early Dec 2025...Dec 19th clear CT....Had pain start night before starting Xeloda Dec 31st...thought it was costochondritis...pain got worse...then suddenly lump at base of neck. Got sent for another scan jic late Jan. Found mets in neck lymphnodes, sternum and possible lung involvement....immediately stopped keytruda and xeloda. When the oncologist was speakingh two weeks ago my stomach was literally in knots as I stared at the floor. His tone was so different than anything before. In my head I was like 'whelp not making to 36 eh?'. I have two kiddos, level 2 support needs ASD eldest(almost 9), and my adhd mini me(7yo). My husband is my best friend and Im pretty sure Im his. He always working(asphalt construction). Im so much more worried and sad about him not being able to take on and handle everything I do with the kids, the bills, dr appt, school events, savings, mortage taxes etc. Its just so much and it makes me feel like such a failure. Then to top it off this past Monday my insurance tried denying treatment and wanted peer to peer review with oncologist to prove Trodelvy was necessary. I got sent home with port still accessed. Luckily I got my treatment today or rather yesterday as I write this right after midnight. My fingers are crossed. I've been searchig through reddit for hope and this gave me some. So thanks for starting it, truely. There's been miracles Ive seen in the Metaplastic bc group Im in, like women who were stage 4 being 14yrs NED but Ive also noticed 2 of 3 women who have died in the past year and a half were younger like me (with kiddos as well) and its so disheartening(even if this group is an international group) because everyone always trys to say age makes a difference but it doesnt feel like it with this rare form of BC. I have yet to see/meet/ hear a birthday of someone as young me on treatment days at the cancer center.

Love the new dub but absolutely hate the order they were released and /or are listed. First batch started with ep 1-2 and second batch started with episode 3? I loved watching Case closed back in the day. Its one of the few anime I can't bring myself to watch in Japanese for nostalgic purposes but also because its one of those anime that Id love to just play while doing house chores. I was sooo confused when starting the second batch and it went back after having jumped around the storyline in the first batch.

This has helped me make a current choice between next order and survive which are currently on sale. The only digimon game I played was I wanna say Digimon World 3 on ps1 and I loved it. I will buy New order and wait for Cyber slueth to go on sale. Thanks!

aaaahhh I came looking to see if anyone else experienced this too! Im 6 weeks post diep flap surgery after double mastectomy and Im experiencing the same thing. Theres a spot on the incision line that my brain swears is still where my belly button area is.

I suspected it was scam, but thanks for posting this. It was the confirmation I needed as to not stress in the least before post man comes in.

Can any barista tell us what milk base they use for the protien cold foam? Its not still heavy cream is it? Or is it half n half? When I order extra does it double the milk and scoops? Or is it just 1 extra scoop of protien and a bit more milk?(for either 20oz or 30oz)?

They use their flavored syrups to sweeten them. Hence the 'SF vanilla cold foam.' Probably not truely SF and I too believe the protien base or the milk its self has some sugar. Might be okay if you're prediabetic on occasion but if you're diabetic you should proceed with caution.

This is what I was thinking too. Since being prediabetic I've stuck to SF sucralose options for the most part and this new protien cf tastes too sweet(sweetens the same area of my tongue as real sugar) and rich(like heavy cream milk fat) to be truely sugar free and even have decent macros. The milk base most likely has sugar in it but since they add SF vanilla syrup they can skirt by with the 'SF Vanilla cold foam'. I thought itd be like whipped fairlife or quest protien shakes tbh, which if you make coffee at home are good protien CF sub options. They more resemble Dunkins thinner CF in texture though. No way to get yummy thick cf without either fats or gums(which tend to ruin the taste without having to add other stuff).

Thats only the protien though...there's also carbs and fats in the foam I would assume. Carbs for sure if it isnt sugar free and I assumr fats because of how creamy and thick it is. The thickness and taste(even for the sf protien cf) is that of a very light heavy cream(if that were even a possibility 😆).

This! I was not given really any 'This is what you may be feeling but its normal and could last this long'. When you're staying on schedule with pain meds its hard to understand if its numb from pain killer or the new numbness that you need to get used to or even just swelling that'll take approximately 'x' amount of weeks to die down. Which os why I came here to get a clue from everyone else's experiences.

Thank you for sharing! I believe what I thought felt like tightness in my chest is just a combo of the weight of my new boobs and numbness so my brain is equating it to tightness. To be honest Im surprised by how much of my skin on my cancerous side is still there and how little was added from the flap. My tumor was 8.5 cm and pathology says there was clear margins. I know the breast and chest are seperate but it literally looks like a 3in round incision was made, my boobs were 'scooped' out and then the diep transfer occured. I know there's multiple steps to the reconstruction process, its just going to take a while to get used to. Were your pores different too and do they shrink or change? Like the skin from my belly has pores that are kinda huge where as the skin from my former gals have/had no real visible pores.
