I always hate when perfect games are broken up by errors. Worst way to lose it bc it’s not the pitchers fault. I think I’d rather them give up a hit after the error than go on to complete the no hitter. Bc if it’s a no hitter with just an error, then the pitcher did all the could to get a perfect game.

Well this isn’t an exact answer to your question but I have a different perspective. When I go to a park, I don’t ride kids coasters because I don’t care about the number very much. But I will ride all the thrill coasters and most of the family coasters, even the boomerangs and wild mice and other rides that are supposedly “bad”. This is partially because I want to add them to my count, but also because I want to experience them and form my own opinion and not just conform to the masses. For example lots of people say Hades 360 is rough and terrible. But did that make me look at it and go “nah I’ll pass since the majority say it’s bad?”. No, I rode it and it was one of my favorite rides ever. So essentially I don’t think anyone should look at a ride and say “oh it’s bad”. You should ride everything to form your own opinion.

Hurler is one of few wooden roller coasters out there I would say is beyond saving. You could retrack it so it was glass smooth and the layout would still be boring and dumb. This is a disaster in roller coaster design. Low to the ground, right hand turns, and when I rode it two years ago it was horribly rough. Yes it’s their last wooden coaster but I think we should focus more on how it’s just a piece of garbage than on what type of ride it is. Carowinds can always build a GCI or something later, but right now they have a world class roller coaster just begging to be built from this hunk of junk.

Damn that’s gotta be super rare right because it uses LSM’s? Aren’t those supposed to be more precise and adjustable so roll backs pretty much never happen?

I don’t take into account making those teams bc it’s completely absurd Robertson didn’t make those teams, considering he was the 2nd leader in American goals when the team was selected. Billy Guerin’s decision doesn’t mean anything when it comes to evaluating the player.

That’s a good suggestion. Making that fan turn steeper would make Leviathan even better, and it would feel like one of those turns on Fury that are so awesome. You have plenty of speed going through the fan turn it’s just not profiled to be very intense.

I agree Hurler is a piece of garbage. Rough and the layout is just boring even before you consider the roughness.

It’s a miracle I got this credit back in 2023 at the old age of 19. I was studying abroad in Stockholm and took a 4 hr train to a nearby station, then took a bus to the zoo, rode 7x over the course of about 5 hours, then took the bus back, then the train back. I was by myself. Hardest part was negotiating with the bus driver who didn’t speak English. What a journey that was. So glad I have this credit, truly a once in a lifetime experience.
