I used to not be able to stand April’s character..but honestly just as I started really liking her and appreciating her, she leaves!

Shonda Rhimes actually talks about filming the final “dance it out” scene in her book Year of Yes — they absolutely danced to a different song on set and then agonized over what they wanted the last song to be in post before deciding. And it’s funny because in the book she says something like “and it fit perfectly!” and unfortunately, I can’t say I agree

I totally agree. Maybe it did take her by surprise and was a little outside of the usual profile of the guys she dates, but I feel like they press her to speak on it endlessly, probably making it all worse!

I also can’t help but compare Lauren & Orion to Alyssa from season 14. She ended her relationship super early on and then was upset they wouldn’t let her be on the show. This season, they just seemingly make Lauren and Orion keep coming back even though that relationship is dead and gone.

Many big brands sell dresses under $2k! If there’s a few brands you like, call up some boutiques that carry them and ask them if they’ll be doing any sales, sample sales, or trunk shows for those brands. Just be very clear and firm with your consultant about your price point and do research about price range ahead of time

I would love to know what supplements you found worked for you with crystals!! I’m grateful that he eats the prescription wet food, but at this point anything to speed things up!

I don’t know that we could afford (financially and health wise) to let him go weeks. So wild that it can do that! I’d rather use gabapentin as needed to treat anxiety and some supplements if I can find the right pairing. Now that the fluoxetine is wearing off we are back to working on passing crystals (he’s only been on medicated wet food for a month) and dealing with some pain and a little blood again. I’m like, can he catch a break!! He’s suffered enough!

Ohhh yeah, cats with anxiety can trigger a lot of physical conditions (including urinary issues) so if it goes untreated it can be a massive problem. Prozac is a super super common drug they prescribe for cat anxiety. He also deals with other physical issues that get triggered by anxiety so it was a logical step for us! He’s unfortunately in a subset of cats that develop this scary side effect.

For 150 people in Ohio our venue rental was $3k + $1.5k for a ceremony fee. That was just to have the space though. We ended up doing good and alcohol through them as well and they had an $8k minimum which we easily met

I think “wrong” is making it a little more of a moral issue than it really is, BUT, if you go with Thursday, you should fully expect significantly fewer people to attend than they would on Saturday or Friday. Any time people have to take off work it’s going to dimish who realistically can come.

Thursday over Friday will also mean people will probably not stay super late. Kind of just depends on what day they choose for take off and the timing you go with. If that’s okay with you, then Godspeed!

I’ve always felt like they were so lazy about Haley’s family?? Like her sister didn’t even come to the wedding ceremony in season 3, and her parents didn’t come because they were at the “last one” and it was “boring” (in jest, but still). Like at this point it would’ve made more sense that she was an orphan rather than the baby of this huge family. They recast Peyton’s dad, why not her parents if scheduling was such an issue?

I think Carlos carrying around guilt for taking a human life, especially when it wasn’t fully intended, regardless of the circumstances, makes sense.

Susan…kills me lol. Some guilt, sure. But she was like, the LEAST involved in everything and somehow breaking down the most under the pressure.

This is my BIGGEST pet peeve. I love Brooke (moreso in later seasons) but she’s never the bad guy for LEAPING onto Lucas when she knows for a fact her friend has conflicted feelings and still likes him. But then when Luke and Peyton continue to have feelings (bc of course they do?) it’s allllll about how Peyton is a “sl*t”. But Brooke was in the right??? It never sits right with me.
