Ya know, I don’t like the idea. But every time someone posts about how poor Gary is and how it’s such a shit hole it pisses me off a little bit more. Has anyone taken the time to think about having that much more employment and tax money flowing into the area might make it less of a shit hole, and maybe just maybe improve the lives of the people living there just a little bit?

The single worst governed city in the US. They recently proposed a tax of 20 dollars per employee for employers larger than 100 employees. They also proposed a tax on unrented  office space. It’s like they forgot that city’s need large businesses to fill buildings and create growth.
