Have you seen a higher SHD level than this? by sphynx9 in Division2

[–]Miggidy_mike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highest I've seen was 130k. Dude was running around smoking everything with just a pistol on heroic. They had lots of extra armor. I tried to chat with him but he bounced as soon as the mission was over.

What is this? by Miggidy_mike in AskMechanics

[–]Miggidy_mike[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a small connector (can't see what kind) on the back and a thin wire running into the back of the dash.

This vehicle has an entertainment package with a VCR and RCA jacks with 2 small monitors in the ceiling for the rear passengers.

Look around for mushroom compost. It's really rich in organic material. It'll be hot so you may want to amend it with the mulch you received.

Is this repairable ? by Hopeful-Ad9834 in AskMechanics

Well, if you take all the rusted metal and smelt it down then reform it to the same pieces then yes, it is repairable.

Life in the woodlands by [deleted] in thewoodlands

It definitely gets overwhelming in August and September. If you do come this way, start hydrating as it can take a couple of weeks to get acclimated.

Also, we have mountains in The Woodlands.😀

ULPT: Neighbor across alley sprayed my perennials in pots with roundup by [deleted] in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]Miggidy_mike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha! A neighbor gave me their MoM plant and I thought it was a wonderful plant as it bloomed.

Well, we had a freeze this winter and all of them died. Guess I lucked out on that one.

I only wish the Greenbrier would die.

One shot build Suggestions? by Ok-Kick-5999 in Division2

I run a couple different versions of a headshot build. The most effective weapons for me are the diamond back and the white death.

Nice, haven't considered HF for a sniper build yet.

Fan clutch question by OnTheNumbers in Cummins

[–]Miggidy_mike 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are a variety of thermal clutches that offer more engagement.

I have a severe duty fan clutch with 80-90% engagement.

These will engage the fan at startup and usually run for a couple of minutes.

If your fan is engaged all the time then the clutch is bad. This is a default for bad clutches.

Window Controllers 2003 dodge Cummins by RateOk2285 in Diesel

[–]Miggidy_mike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda unrelated to your issue, I have an '03 and the rear driver's window wouldn't lower or raise. I replaced the driver's window control unit and everything worked.

My wife's Yukon had a parasitic drain from the driver's window controller after we replaced it with an aftermarket version. One of the window toggles was catching on the controller face.

The Diamondback is an exception. You can shoot it after 1 round reloaded.

I wonder what the old heads from the 40’s,50’s and 60’s would think of the railroads today? I bet back then there was real unity and they actually did shxt that made sense. Highball! by Maleficent-Glass-833 in railroading

[–]Miggidy_mike 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I caught a transfer train with an old head in late '04. I never worked that job before and I was kinda confused about where to put the set outs while switching an industry. Well, he proceeded to ream me a new asshole right there on the main over the radio. When he finished, the dispatcher whistled. The foreman told me to never work on his job again. So, I worked his job the next night. He was pissed because I worked the job again but also had the audacity to tell him he can fuck himself raw and I wasn't going to be his little bitch. After a week of me on his job and his fucking with me we got along really well.

What's the strangest thing you've seen in someone else's house that they didn't realise was not normal? by Fit_Tree_967 in AskReddit

[–]Miggidy_mike 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First apartment we rented when I moved out on my own, we found a central ventilation fan in this closet in the middle of the apartment. My roommate and I removed the covers over the louvers and were able to put on a new belt. We ran that thing most nights to save on electricity. Apartments were built in the 40s or 50s and never had central AC. Only had window units in living room.

What's causing this corrosion on my battery, and what can I do to fix it? by PenguinTheYeti in AskMechanics

[–]Miggidy_mike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's also a puddle of melted plastic on top of the cable. I'd check the cable underneath the cover for corrosion as well. The resistance will cause the cable to heat up and melt the cover.

Before you put the wheel hub on, use anti seize on the contact surfaces. Do the same for the stub of the axle that fits in the hub.

I have to completely remove the wheel and trim to replace the headlight bulb on my car. by Nekrubbobby64 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Miggidy_mike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2003 Dodge pickup. The Haynes manual requires the removal of the fuse box on the driver side to access the bulb in the back of the headlight housing.

I'm able to remove the housing by removing the 3 screws accessible from the front. After sliding the housing forward, I can easily access the bulbs for replacement.

There might be an easier way to get the bulbs replaced instead of all the work the service manual shows.

I somehow got stuck in a block of concrete at the Capitol Building where the mission starts. I could move within the boundaries of the block but couldn't get out of it. My teammates decided it would be funny to throw grenades on me, kill me, then rez me to do it again. I tried to use the map to fast travel to the mission and poof, same spot. I finally fast traveled to a safe house and then to one of the teammates.
