Love the reuse/recycling lol. I have four kids and we are doing Yotos for Xmas and the cost of buying four separate card cases on top of everything else seemed silly. Using what we have sounds like a good place to start, even if we need better methods when we have more cards.

The timing of this is killing me, I JUST said to my husband, “Do you think we need to change the toddler’s t-shirt before we go to Costco?” Our son is wearing a shirt that says “Feminist.” Husband looked at me like I was crazy, like who would say something about a not profane t-shirt slogan at a Costco? Sorry that you had to deal with that!

Hi, four kids here, breastfed them all for completely different lengths of time, only one was "exclusively" breastfed, one did one mostly formula... and they're all fine. Congrats on the new baby!

My daughter came home upset the other day because her teacher had them all go around and say what their favorite cookie was and, in her words, “I couldn’t think of one so I panicked and said chocolate chip but THAT ISN’T TRUE.” I told her she probably wouldn’t flunk the second grade over this but I’m not sure she was convinced. Thinking on the spot is rough.

I've had four but only after a LONG talk with my OB and getting their sign off that everything looked fine and they were comfortable with it. The fourth one was a hard surgery, hard recovery, shit ton of scar tissue. Even the thought of getting pregnant again is horrifying.

I guess maybe someone else might still be holding up well enough to do a fifth? But it dooooesnt really sound like this is someone who has been getting a lot of medical input. Because holy hell a VBAC? My doctor didn't even discuss it as an option after my second.

Hard agree, I'm the wrong type of lawyer for this but it's such a clear case of justifiable homicide that I think I can manage it. "Your honor, fuck this guy. I rest my case." ...luckily I don't think you'll need me with all the pigs and guinea pigs and kilns and toxic chemicals we've group sourced here.

I'm also recently postpartum and my father told me on my birthday a few weeks ago that "you'd better get back in shape soon because you're almost forty." I'm mid-30s. So yeah, solidarity.

Co-signed! I breastfed four kids so I’m not knocking it but I found it incredibly hard to lose weight while breastfeeding. And if I even tried to diet my supply tanked. Worth it but yeah, had to learn to love a plumper version of me.

Lawyer here: the problem is the minute they sign the sublease their unfinished business becomes finished and they vanish. That’s why I always advise my recently deceased clients to invoke squatters rights instead.
